Lenora never met her real parents and the family that adopted her died in a terrible accident, leaving her to grow up with the sweet old couple who lived next door, who were more than happy to have the little 6 years girl to raise.

The following day Len woke up with a strange text from Izuku.
'Go ahead without me! Gotta start working out for U.A.! :)'
The girl was happy about Izuku's new mindset but also a bit confused. She didn't pay so much attention to it and sent her reply after getting dressed.
'You can do it, Izuku! If you need a train-mate you know where to find me!'
Lenora didn't know but that text pumped up Izuku, who blessed whoever was up there to have sent him such a great friend.
"Oh? You're already going out? What about Izuku?", Mariko asked, passing the kid her breakfast and lunch boxes. The old woman gave up trying to make Lenora sit at the table and eat breakfast like a normal person: the girl was always in a rush so she started packing something for her to eat while running to school.
"He texted me saying he's working out this morning," Len put the lunch in her backpack, smiling at Mariko, "I'm kinda proud!"
Tadashi laughed, flipping through the newspaper, "Look at him! Be careful Len, the kid could become stronger than you!"
Len smiled, knowing how much they both loved Izuku and how they were their number 2 fans, after his mom and Len herself.
"I hope so! Then it'll be a real challenge!"
Mariko served her husband a cup of tea, "Still thinking of that bet?"
Lenora winked, slipping her shoes on, "Always on my mind! Bye guys, don't tire yourself too much today!"
"Bye Len!"
"Work your ass hard! Ouch, honey...!"
Len laughed while closing the door behind her, and starting jogging to the school. The day was sunny and the cherry blossom trees were giving them in best at that time of year.
She mentally checked all the runes on her body, like she could forget some.
Her quirk was something she didn't know existed until her eyes fell on a book in the library when she was six. Lenora always loved reading and even at a very young age she loved to open books and made her eyes scan the words, even the ones she didn't know; so it wasn't a thing out of the ordinary for the kid to be found in the public library when her adoptive mom was grocery shopping or making small commissions, taking every book she could reach and placing herself on her usual table, flipping through the pages. Though one day that table was already taken when she arrived with a big pile of books, leaving her surprised. A girl was studying some big manuals and only lifted her gaze from them when Lenora's stares were becoming a little bit intense.
"Hi", she waved her hand.
Len's big eyes fell on the books, "Hi, what are you reading?"
The student saw the high pile in the kid's hands, "C'mon, take a look, you can place your books here", she gestured for her to come closer. Len quickly walked up to her, putting the books on the free chair, tiptoeing on the table, and placing her hands on the verge to keep herself steady.
