Classes are in full swing once more at Beacon Academy, dragging students to classrooms for their futures as huntsmen and huntresses. It would have been a nice, sunny day, were it not for a fleet of Atlesian warships above the city. As a result, an old colony ship and a damaged destroyer are on their way to meet the headmaster of Beacon.

The two, as of now, we're taking an elevator to the top of the academy to figure out what exactly is going on.

Godspeed tightly held a datapad in his right hand with a satisfied look on his face. He reread the details on the device again and again, feeling a sense of relief he hadn't felt in a long time.

"You're nearly green, Hastings." The old man said.

Hastings comfortably sat in her wheelchair with a blanket covering her legs. "Wonderful, though, I'm surprised we didn't run into the rest of the fleet." She said as she flexed her now complete prosthetic.

The old man hummed before replying. "Fortunately, your siblings and their friends have classes today."

"That reminds me, what happened to the bunny girl?" The destroyer asked curiously. "I'd like to get to know both of them better if they are after my little brother."

"On a mission to some forested region of the kingdom, Oz wanted wiped clear of Grimm."

"Ah..." Hastings uttered with worry. "How will he react to me?" She nervously said.

Godspeed looked up from the datapad to see her staring back at him with worry. "He'll treat you just as he treats everyone else, I'll make sure of it."

"That's comforting." The girl replied before focusing on the opening elevator doors.

The father-daughter duo walked out of the elevator and were met by not only the headmaster but a militarized-looking man in front of his desk.

"Ah, Professor Hood and...?" Ozpin greeted the two.

"Always a pleasure, Oz. This is my other daughter, Marigold." Godspeed wheeled the destroyer in.

Hastings waved at the two men with a friendly smile. "Hello. It's an honor to finally meet you, headmaster."

Godspeed rolled the girl up to the desk, watching the military man step aside. Once the old man set his daughter up, he turned to the other man and outstretched his hand. "Psychology Professor George Hood."

The man accepted the hand and lightly shook it. "James Ironwood, Atlesian General. You and your daughter appear... like soldiers. Did you serve in the Atlesian Army?" He asked as they broke off the handshake.

"No. My family was part of a private military that operated in Vacuo for a while. Nothing more." Godspeed calmly said.

"Interesting. What made you want to become a teacher?" Ironwood asked, prying his head for information. "Vacuo is a rough place, after all."

"I wanted to raise a family. I quit whenever I adopted my oldest." Godspeed replied, narrowing his eyes in the process. "Why is there a fleet of poorly built ships outside?"

"Excuse me?" Ironwood, taken aback by the insult, came up with an immediate response. "I wouldn't speak poorly of the best military in the world."

"Gentlemen." Ozpin silenced the two. "I will not allow brawls in my office. What is it you came to ask about, professor?"

"I came to see if my daughter would be allowed residence here and why Atlas is swinging around a stick." Godspeed asked.

After a moment of silence, Ozpin answered the questions. "Your daughter may remain, and the reason behind the Atlesian fleet is due to a lack of security around Vale for the upcoming Vytal Festival."
