Most days in Chemistry, Esme was the one doing the actual experiments if they had one, or she was doodling on the corners of Juliette's notes... But today she was entirely checked out, and Juliette knew the reason why: She'd let Esme choose what she was wearing this morning, which meant that her shirt was lower cut and more form fitting than she'd ever risked wearing to school and Esme was thoroughly distracted by it. Granted? The pants she'd chosen, which were covered in patches and paint, were incredibly comfortable, so Juliette considered it a win-win. Plus, there were worse things in the world than being fantasized about by Esme Panchek.
She was clearly very happy with her stylistic decisions.
"Hey baby, can you pass me the vial?" Juliette looked over at her and felt a blush spread through her entire body at the way that Esme was staring at her... She hadn't ever been checked out in such an obvious way, and if it were anyone aside from Esme, her skin would be crawling... But right now? She just wanted to kiss her... Which wasn't a thought that was great for trying to learn about stupid fucking chemical reactions. "Honey." Nothing. God... So fucking hot... It made her feel indescribably sexy, powerful. "Esme." Her voice was more forceful this time and Esme cleared her throat, blinking, but not looking away from her... God, she was close to drooling, this was ridiculous... and incredibly flattering.
"Hm? Pen? Or, uh... Pencil, right?" Esme asked, still not meeting Juliette's eyes. She chuckled, shaking her head as she waved in front of her face, finally getting her gaze to snap up, making her breath catch. God, she looked so pretty when she wanted her... How was it fair that they were stuck in a Chemistry class when they could be spending time together. Alone... That sounded like a much better use of her time.
But also... Esme was dead wrong with what she'd said, that was a good sign that she'd been checking her out and not paying attention... Hilarious, considering the fact that they'd shared a bed the night before and had gotten ready together this morning... It was cute that she couldn't keep her eyes off of her.
"So close, and I'm proud of you for trying." She pointed over to where the vial was sitting with a smile, leaning forward a bit with an extended hand. "Vial. Please." Esme let out a shaky breath and nodded, seeming to come back into herself as she gave Juliette an embarrassed sort of smile before pressing it into her hand.
"Right, sure." God, her voice... It made Juliette want to do things that would make anyone blush... She never used to think like this, especially not in class... This was entirely a result of spending too much time around Esme...
But she could act innocent. She pushed her goggles onto her forehead and slid a hand across Esme's upper back, doing her best to furrow her brows... Hopefully she looked worried and not pained... Those two were hard for her to separate.
"You okay? You seem a little distracted..." She asked, and Esme rolled her eyes... Fair, maybe her faux-concerned tone wasn't very convincing to someone who'd heard her real one.
Plus, it was obvious that she knew what was going on, so it wasn't actually all that useful in making her seem completely innocent in this situation.
"Hard not to be..." Esme leaned closer to her with a smirk, her hand tracing down her arm. Juliette fought the shiver, the breathy gasp... God, she wanted Esme's hands everywhere... It'd been too long. "You should let me style you more often, you look really good." Fuck, her tone had such a hot rasp to it when she was turned on... No. Not right now. Juliette took a deep breath and cleared her throat, flashing Esme a tight smile.
