The party was loud - not in a bad way, but in a way that made Juliette sort of disassociate - her ears didn't hurt, and she didn't feel overwhelmed, she just couldn't click in, and her normal social interactions weren't around - Shelby was off with Emma or Penny, the other one was nowhere to be found, Becky and Carly were off probably finishing what they started at the concert, and Ophelia and Honey were MIA, probably with Wess, Micheal, and Tegan... Esme'd been stuck in a conversation since Juliette had gotten there, and she didn't want to interrupt.  She didn't want to be that girlfriend - she didn't want people to think that she was too clingy, so she'd just wait.

She'd wait for them, that sounded good.

"Hello." Juliette looked up, a smile overtaking her face even before she realized that it was there as she looked into Esme's face, seeing their wide smile, their soft eyes... The beauty of their features, all of which were so perfect that it took her breath away over and over again.  She was pretty sure it would never stop, which was detrimental to her asthma, but she never wanted Esme to stop looking at her like she was the best thing in the entire world.  "How are you, pretty girl?" They asked, making Juliette's face feel hot at the gravelly tone of their voice, the one that often came along after concerts, after they exerted themself... She wanted to hear it more, she wanted to hear it while they were panting in her ear, begging for more and more until they simply couldn't take it anymore.

She swallowed heavily, shaking her head.  Don't think about that right now, answer her question you horny little shit.

"I'm good, just... Existing.  People watching." She shrugged, drumming her hands on her thighs as she sighed... She really wasn't doing anything interesting; she wasn't sure what Esme wanted to know that they hadn't probably inferred, aside from the fact that she'd been waiting for them to get done with their conversation so that she could talk to them without interrupting.... They seemed to know her better than she would ever know herself, which was both helpful and fucking terrifying sometimes. "Just... Sort of here, you know?" She asked, and Esme nodded.

"Well..." They leaned down over her a bit, making Juliette's breath catch in her throat as she tried not to look down their shirt... Not that she couldn't, she knew that she could, she knew that Esme probably wanted her to, but sometimes she struggled with thinking that Esme might think that she was objectifying them. "Want some company?" They asked, their voice making her shiver as she dug her nails into her thighs as she nodded.

Act like a normal person around your partner.  You can do it; I know you can.

"Absolutely.  Always from you." She said, her words catching in her throat when Esme dropped easily into her lap, a grin on their face as they wrapped their arms around the back of her neck.  She let her hands slide around their waist, her fingers slipping under the hem of their shirt to rub the skin there, willing herself to keep them there even though she wanted to let them wander...

Don't give everyone a show they didn't pay for.

"God, you're pretty." They sighed, leaning in to kiss her deeply, making Juliette groan against their lips as she slid her hands to the small of their back, slipping under their shirt to trace on the heated skin of their lower back, her mind going blank when their hands slid to her cheeks as they leaned forward, pushing her into the back of the couch before they pulled back.  "Sorry... This is really forward, I just... You're really hot, and we finished nothing we started at the concert, and if you don't this right now, we don't have to do anything at all, I just really like kissing you-." She pulled Esme in for another kiss, just to quiet them down so that she could speak as her heart hammered in her chest.

"How about... We go to our room?" She asked, her voice going up at the end as she traced over Esme's collarbones with a soft smile.  She saw the way that the tips of their ears got red as a shy sort of smile settled on their cheeks.  Cute.
