There was literally not a single thing in the entire universe that Juliette wanted to be doing right now less than studying for her chemistry test - it made her want to tear her own hair out, but she couldn't do that because that would just give Elena more things to worry about at her next session, so instead she suffered.

Really, the group had agreed on an hour of studying and reviewing with Emma, Penny, Shelby, Micheal and Tegan helping where they could... But it'd been two hours, Emma was asleep, Tegan was on his phone, and Micheal was doodling on Shelby's leg... None of them were doing what they were supposed to do, not really... Esme looked close to sleep too. Juliette let out a frustrated groan, shaking her head.

Fucking kill me, it'd be less painful.

"I think Chemistry is actually a fucking torture device." Juliette sighed, setting down her pen as Penny let out a snort, leaning her head back on the couch to look up at Juliette with an amused smile.

She wasn't joking, but okay... Laughing at her agony was technically legally allowed, so who was she to say that that couldn't be said, right?

"You're being dramatic." Penny said, her smile making her words sound sweet, but Juliette shook her head nonetheless. Maybe it's dramatic to someone who likes chemistry, but not to me. I hate it. Therefore, not dramatic.

"Am I?" I have the answer for that even if you do not - I am not dramatic. "We've been studying for two hours when we agreed on an hour, that sounds like cruel and unusual punishment." She pointed out, and Penny lifted her head up, doodling something in the corner of the piece of paper that she had...

Is this conversation boring you? You started the conversation....

"Okay, it would have been an hour, but the snow started. That's not our fault." Penny pointed out, and Juliette frowned... Okay, so she had a point with that, but that didn't mean that she wanted to acknowledge that there was a point to be made, she'd rather just complain... It was honestly probably more fruitful than her trying to do anything to do with her chemistry notes.

"Mmm... I'm still gonna blame you." She said, making Penny let out a faux-hurt gasp as she gripped her chest, shaking her head.

"Damn." She poked Juliette with the eraser of her pencil, a smirk on her face as she did. "Stubborn." No... She was going to tell Penny that that wasn't the case, but Shelby cleared her throat, speaking before she could.

Bitch.

"She's been stubborn since birth." Shelby said, and Juliette reached out, kicking her lightly. How dare you say such mean things that are actually pretty true? What gives you the right to be so annoying?

"Shelby." Juliette snapped, noticing the small smile on her best friend's face as she shrugged... I will shave your head in your sleep.

"True." Micheal chimed in, making her smack the back of his head a little bit too hard... She felt bad when he winced, but he had earned that from her.

"Micheal." She hissed, and he shrugged like whatever she was going to say was not going to sway him either way.

You such.

"I was only telling the truth." Dickhead.

"Bastard." She sighed, hating that Micheal's smile only grew with that as he nodded... He'd gotten really good at taking those kinds of jokes in stride this year, the names didn't seem to make him sad - she'd never really called him anything even as a joke until recently and she was glad to see that he seemed to enjoy being included.
