Becky was incredibly lucky that she and Juliette had become actual friends, that was what was going through Juliette's head as she helped Becky disinfect the sticky blocks before the kids came down for daycare, unable to keep the grimace off of her face... She missed the break that she'd gotten from the little bastards, and if anyone else had begged her to come back and help run the daycare, she would've said 'absolutely not'...
But she cared about Becky. She couldn't say no to her, she was just too nice... Most of the time, sometimes she wanted to strangle her now that her sense of humor was back at the most inappropriate of times... Today she wasn't being like that though, she was just... Existing. It was nice.
"So..." Okay, so it was nice to exist, but now she was talking, which wasn't a problem... Probably. It probably wasn't a problem, but going off of the smirk on her face, there was a real possibility that Juliette was going to want to jump out of a window... They were in a basement, she wasn't sure of the logistical side of that, but she knew that it was always a possibility, always something that she was willing and able to attempt. "How are you and Esme doing?" She asked, and Juliette relaxed.
Oh. A normal question... She hadn't anticipated a normal question, she'd kind of just thought that she'd end up taking a swan dive off of a building or something because of a joke that Becky would make that she wouldn't expect, but she could handle answering questions about Esme, that was one of her favorite topics.
She was healthily obsessed with them, so just the thought of talking about it with Becky made her grin.
"We are so fucking good... I love them so much." She sighed, and this made Becky smile kindly as she reached over, squeezing her hand gently.
"I'm glad... You two were adorable at Tegan and Penny's concert yesterday, I love seeing you guys interact. You both deserve that kind of love, it's really nice to see." Becky said, and Juliette nodded. It was easy to give Esme that kind of love, they were possibly the most lovable person that she'd ever met in her entire life, and that was something that she was grateful for.
To be loved unconditionally... God, it shouldn't have been a luxury, but it was one to her.
"Thanks... Yeah, last night was a really good night." Juliette said, feeling her face get hot as she thought back to Esme begging for her, the way that they tugged at the handcuffs, the desperate look in their eyes... She was pretty sure that watching Esme Panchek cum could be classified as some kind of addiction...
But who could blame her, right?
Becky chuckled, setting down her cleaning wipe to give her a knowing look. Mmm, I don't like that... Put it away, Jesus Freak.
"So I noticed." No. No you did not. Do not perceive me, you little bastard.
"What's that supposed to mean?" She asked, knowing very well what Becky meant from the way that she raised an eyebrow. Juliette glanced away with a grimace because sometimes she forgot just how easily Becky would be able to glean what had happened based on body language.
She didn't forget about Becky and Esme's relationship, her brain just would randomly block out that they'd had a sexual relationship, that that part of Esme wasn't a secret to her, and she wasn't mad about that... She just never wanted to think about Becky in any sort of sexual situation ever and her brain kept doing that.
It did it a lot without her meaning to with a lot of people... One of those thoughts that made her stomach lurch and her inner voice tell her that she was perverted even though she had no say for when they came into her head. She used to pray that she'd lose the ability to think just so she never had to think about it again.
