It's Valentine's Day! Tobias is picking me up for our date at 4:00, and right now it's 2:15; which means that u have less than 2 hours to get ready.

I run into my closet and pick out a strapless red dress with a jewel belt and red pumps to match. I put on a cubic zirconia bracelet, I diamond and ruby bracelet, and dangly diamond earrings. For makeup, I do a smokey eye with a bit of pink, mascara, blush, and matte red lipstick. I use a curling wand to curl my hair, and then brush it out to create softer curls.

I finished at 3:36.

The doorbell rings at exactly 4:00. I hear talking and I'm assuming my dad answered the door.

I run down the steps into the living room. As I walk into the foyer, I hear my dad say, "If you hurt my princess-"

"He's not gonna hurt me, daddy," I cut him off and kiss his cheek. "He would've already if he was going to," I look at Tobias and smile. He's wearing a white button-down with a red tie. He looks hot.😏

"We should get going, I'll be back around nine daddy." I grab my sparkly clutch purse and put my phone in it. I hug my dad and walk out the door closing it behind me.

I grab Tobias hand, and he leads me to his car.

"What're we doing on this fine evening, Mr. Eaton?"

"First, Ms. Prior, we're gonna go to our special place for a movie, then we're gonna go to dauntless diner for dinner."

"Very romantic," I laugh.

Right now, Tobias and I are laying down on a blanket watching Mean Girls in the place where we had our first date. We're at the part where the random girl is like, "I wish I could bake a cake out of rainbows and smiles, and we'd all eat it and be happy."

"She's such an Amity," I say to Tobias.

"I know, right?" Tobias and I laugh.

After the movie, Tobias and I pick up our stuff and put it in the car. He starts the car and drives to Dauntless Diner.

"How many?" the hostess asks when we get inside Dauntless Diner. She keeps checking out Tobias and it's making me really mad.

Tobias senses this, so he lets go of my hand and puts his arm around my waist. "Two," he says.

She leads us to a booth near the far end of the diner. "I'm Annie, and Mikayla will be your waitress today. Can I start you off with any drinks?"

"Strawberry lemonade, please," I say.

"A water and a chocolate milkshake with two straws, please." Tobias says.

She writes those down and heads to the kitchen.

"Are we going to share a milkshake?" I ask.

"Yep."

"That is so cliche," I smile, "but I find cliche adorable."

Someone, who I'm guessing is Mikayla, sets down our drinks. I have to say, that milkshake looks really good.

"Are you folks ready to order?" she asks.

Tobias nods to me. "Um, I'll a have chicken noodle soup, please."

"I'll have a double bacon burger please." We hand her the menus and she walks to the kitchen.

"Are you excited for baseball in a couple weeks?" I ask Tobias.

"Yeah, I'm so excited. Do you play any spring sports?"

"No, I like to focus on volleyball, but I sometimes play spring soccer."

We talk for awhile.

Mikayla brings our food and we eat.

One piece of dauntless cake and another chocolate milkshake later, Tobias and I are sitting in his car, and he's driving me home.

We jam out to Ain't it Fun by Paramore.

I give him a goodbye kiss when we arrive in my driveway and get out of the car.

"Happy Valentine's Day, baby! I love you!"

"I love you too baby! Bye!" he says.

I walk inside my house and take off my heels before I run up the stairs to get ready for bed.

A/N: sorry, short chapter.... I have a bit of writers block, so I'm probably just gonna skip to the week before spring break next chapter.... 11 days left of school!!!!! Yass!!!!😂 Finally got my italics working!!!!
