TRIS
The day slowly drags on until it's finally lunch. Zeke and I walk down to the cafeteria to meet the gang, but before we sit down we grab some lunch.
I get a hamburger, fries, and a Pepsi. I see Four grab a peice of cake.
When we sit down I ask Four, "Is that chocolate cake?" Four, Zeke, and Uriah stare at me with their eyebrows raised and eyes widened. "What? Why are you staring at me?"
"This is no 'chocolate cake', this is the best goddamned chocolate cake that has ever existed. Here," Four explains, making me giggle as he hands me his fork with some cake on it. I eat it and it's like FREAKIN CHOCOLATE HEAVEN!
"Oh my lord, that is amazing!"
"Isn't it?!" Uriah says and I nod my head.
"That, my friend, is the wonder of Dauntless Cake," Zeke adds, causing me to laugh again.
Four wraps an arm around my shoulder, announcing, "Our girl isn't a Dauntless Cake virgin anymore!"
I roll my eyes and shove him off, but I'm unable to stifle my chuckle.
"So Tris, I was wondering, do you play any sports? Or do anything athletic like that?" Chris questions, eating a fry.
"Umm. Yeah, I play volleyball," I answer.
"Oh cool. Shauna, Lynn, Mar, and I play volleyball too."
"Cool!" We make small talk until the bell rings and we all head to art.
We get there and take our seats.
"Ok so, yesterday I told you to work on a project with a partner. I gave you all the details like you have to draw your partner and color it with colored pencils, and that its due tomorrow... So, get with your partner and work on it." Since Four and I sit next to each other, we don't have to move.
"Shall we color our drawings?" He asks.
"Yeah." I reply. We color our drawings and I finish with about 30 minutes of class time to spare. Four finished about five minutes before me. We talk for awhile, then Tori speaks up.
"Ok. So I noticed that everyone is either talking or texting. I'm assuming that you're all finished with your projects. You can hand them in today, if you want. Just so you don't accidentally lose them." She eyes Zeke and Uriah.
"What did we do?" Zeke and Uriah ask in unison.
"You don't even know," she mutters.
The class ends about fifteen minutes later, so I pull my phone out and open Snapchat. Taking a drink from my water bottle I snap a picture and send it to Four, even though he's literally sitting next to me. My phone lights up and I see that Four Snapchatted me back. Unlocking my phone, I open his snap and laugh when I see his tongue hanging out.
The bell rings and all we do in music is strum guitars a little. I don't think I've ever been more bored in my entire life. I start to play Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson. I love Jack Johnson.
The period slowly drags on and finally the bell rings.
Since Four and I both have a free period, I ask,"Do you wanna go hangout at my house?"
He replies with a simple,"Sure."
"Ok. Let's go."
"What about your brother?"
"He can walk for all I care."
"Well then let's go." With that we get into my car and go to my house. On the ride there we just listen to music and sing like crazy maniacs.
