okay... fine... you convinced me 😏😊 two posts in one day because i loved all the comments on the last part!!

JJ's POV:

Kie and I were in a massive fight and we were both pushing each other. She turned to leave but I pulled her back and I kissed her. I already lost my job here so I literally didn't have anything to lose. I probably wouldn't see her again because I was going to avoid her and her family. Lucas would also make sure she avoided me. I hated that guy.

Kie pulled away pretty fast and she looked at me. I was waiting for her to yell at me or to slap me. I was waiting for anything to happen. Then the most unexpected thing happened. She leaned back in crashing our lips together again. It caught me off guard for a moment, but so quickly kissed her back and put my hands on her body.

It was only a few seconds before our tongues intertwined and I picked her up with my hands on her ass and carried her out into the rain. I put her down so her back was against her car. She pulled back and asked, "Why the hell are we in the rain?"

"More romantic and more fun" I said reconnecting our lips

Kie and I were totally making out in the rain. At this point, we were both soaking wet. Her hands were in my hair which was so hot and my hands were all over her body. When we broke apart, we were looking into each others eyes. The eye contact was so intense that we both started laughing. It was like we didn't believe what just happened.

"Soooo that was something" She said

"Yeah" I added sounding like a total idiot

"I should get home before my parents come looking for me. Do you want a ride?"

"Nah, but thanks... I'm just going to enjoy the night" I said smiling thinking about the kiss

"Are you sure? I don't mind and it's raining"

"Yeah, I'm good. Drive safe, princess"

She rolled her eyes and smiled in a cute flirty way as she gave me the middle finger as she slowly drove away. Damn. I just made out with Kiara Carrera and I felt so high right now, but I was completely sober. I was smiling like an idiot and not even my father could change how happy I was right now.

I went to the Chateau and found John B and Pope there. They were sitting on the couch watching tv.

"How was work?" JB asked

"Incredible"

"What happened?" Pope asked

"Got fired"

They both freaked out and drilled me with questions asking how that was a good thing. I smiled and said, "I also made out with Kie in the rain"

"Atta boy" John B said shaking me with his hands on my shoulders like a proud dad

"What about Lucas?"

"Fuck Lucas, he's the one who got me fired"

I told the boys all about the kiss and then I got a text from Mike.

Mike: Come in tomorrow after school. We need to talk.

I showed my phone to the guys and they were already giving me shit for being in trouble with the girl's dad. There is no way he knew about the kiss unless there were cameras outside the Wreck. I'm guessing it has to do with our argument tonight and the whole issue from earlier in the week. I was nervous to talk to him, especially because I kissed Kie. I kissed Kiara Carrera. I couldn't stop smiling.

Kie's POV:

I drove home so slowly. I could stop thinking about the kiss. JJ Maybank kissed me. I had a boyfriend but I still kissed him back. I pulled up to my house and I just stood out in the rain, trying to re-live that moment. I walked inside and my mom yelled at me.

"Kiara, why are you soaking wet?"

"It's raining" I answered stating the obvious

"Go upstairs and take a shower" She demanded

I got in the shower and my heart was still racing thinking about the kiss. I went downstairs and I asked my dad what happened with JJ.

"I had to fire him, honey. We've gotten numerous complaints from people and he is not professional when serving your friend's table"

"They treat him awful because he's a pogue"

"Did I just hear you defending JJ? Out of all people are you asking me to re-hire JJ?" My dad asked me

"Look, I don't like him. We've fought for years and I don't think that will ever change but he isn't a bad person. I know he really needs this job and I'd hate for my friends to be the ones to get him fired"

"Am I hearing our daughter correctly?" My mom asked my dad

"Alright, I'll talk to JJ tomorrow. I'll offer him his job back but I can't make him take it"

"Thank you, dad" I said hugging him goodnight

I went to bed and I tossed and turned. I grabbed my phone and I called Sarah. She picked up right away and I said, "I have to tell you a secret and you can't lecture me because I know it was wrong but it didn't feel wrong"

"You kissed JJ, didn't you?"

"How'd you know?"

"Because the tension between you two has been insane lately. Girl, tell me everything"

"Okay, so I was actually about to have sex with Lucas when I got called into the Wreck..." I started the story and I told her all about the makeout

"That's so hot... So is he a good kisser?"

"Oh my gosh, yes... The way his tongue.." I started but Sarah cut me off

"Too many details.. I don't want to know"

"Sare, it was the best kiss of my life... I want to kiss him again. I can't stop thinking about it"

"Like I told you earlier, you and JJ and literally Allie and Noah from the Notebook"

I laughed and said, "It was just one kiss. It probably didn't even mean anything"

"What are you going to do about Lucas?"

"I don't know... I feel like shit for basically cheating on him but lately, the vibe's been off"

"Girlllll, dump his ass and go for JJ"

"He's a pogue and I'm a kook. It makes everything so much more complicated"

"Okay, so here is what you're going to do. Forget about JJ and the kiss. It meant nothing, stay with Lucas and act like nothing ever happened. Let me know how that goes and we'll re-evaluate in a few days"

"Okay..." I agreed

Talking to Sarah really helped and I was able to fall asleep. The next day, I had school and I saw Lucas waiting by my locker.

"Hi, how was work last night?"

"Lucas, why did you and all your friends come and watch me all night?"

"We just wanted to hang out and thought the Wreck would be a nice place to chill"

"What was the plan? To try and get JJ fired?"

"Maybe, work is the only place you are forced to see him. Now, you don't have to see him anymore. You're welcome, babe"

He walked me to class and told me that he had a date planned for tonight. I didn't even want to go. I wanted to makeout with JJ again. I sat down daydreaming about the kiss in the rain last night. How soft his lips felt on mine. The way his tongue felt in my mouth. How he pulled me closer to him and wrapped his arms around my hips. Let's just say I didn't pay attention to much in school today. I couldn't get that kiss out of my head.
