Kie's POV:

I woke up this morning to some cramping and I did really think much of it. However, it started to get more intense and I called JJ at work and told him. He rushed home and said, "We should probably go to the hospital"

"Yeah, okay" I agreed

JJ went upstairs and grabbed our hospital bag and put it in the car. I quickly ate lunch as I knew they weren't going to let me eat in the hospital. I finished eating and I went to put my plate away when my water broke.

JJ stopped and looked at me and I looked back at him. "Holy shit, this is actually happening" I said started to get super nervous

JJ went upstairs and grabbed me new clothes and I changed and we headed to the hospital. He held my hand the whole time he drove. I looked in the backseat at the carseat JJ had installed weeks ago. When we come home next, that car seat will finally have our baby in it. We got to the hospital and once I got all checked in, the doctor came in to give me an exam.

I was asked to put a gown on and the doctor returned. She told me to put my feet in the stirrups and JJ looked at me and he grabbed my hand and kissed it. The doctor told me I was around four centimeters dilated and in active labor. I also decided that I didn't want an epidural, I wanted to see if I could do it totally natural.

JJ called my parents and then he texted the group chat with the pogues. My parents asked if they could come and we said yes.

My mom and dad both came into the room and asked how I was doing. The doctor came in for another check and they both went into the waiting room. The nurses suggested things to help labor progress - walking around, bouncing on a ball, etc.

JJ and I went and walked the halls slowly and then they brought the stability ball in and I was just doing what the nurse told me to and JJ had this look on his face. He was having many dirty thoughts and holding back all the stupid sexual jokes he could make.

After many hours of being in labor, it was getting time to push. My parents came in the room quick and my dad kissed the top of my head and said, "You'll do amazing, I can't wait to meet my grandbaby"

My dad hugged JJ and said, "Next time I see you, you'll officially be a dad... Don't pass out"

"I'll do my best" He said as my dad hugged him

My mom hugged me and said, "I love you baby girl, you've got this"

"Love you, mom"

My mom hugged JJ and then they left the room and the doctor came in with more nurses and got me all ready to pick.

"Alright, let's have a baby" My doctor smiled

JJ's POV:

Kie was doing such an amazing job. She looked exhausted and she was so hot and sweaty from pushing. She held my hand tight and I just kept repeating stupid phrases to her like, "You're doing so good, baby"

"You're almost there, keep going"

I was just trying to be supportive and she gave me a death glare and said, "Shut up"

I tried really hard not to laugh, but said, "It sounds like you're trying to get me to cum, not push a baby out" and I couldn't contain my laughter

The nurses around also choked back their laughs. Kie looked at me and said, "We're never having sex again, this hurts so fucking bad"

The nurse next to me whispered, "They all say that"

The doctor said Kie was almost there and she could see the head. Kie was in so much pain. I just wanted to take the pain away from her. She stopped pushing and started crying and said, "I can't do this... I need an epidural"

"Kiara, it's too late for that. The baby is coming, you need to push on your next contraction" The doctor said

I looked into my wife's eyes and said, "Kie, you're the strongest person I know. You've got this, the hard part is over.. A few more pushes and we get to finally meet our baby"

She nodded and I kissed her head and said, "I love you"

"I love you too" She said turning and kissing my lips but she broke away when the next contraction hit

Two pushes later we could hear crying. Our baby was placed on Kie's chest for skin-to-skin contact. I looked at her and at the baby and I'll admit, I was crying and so was she. I bent down and kissed the top of her head and whispered, "You did so good, I love you"

She looked into my eyes with the biggest smile ever and said, "Thank you for making me a mom, I love you too"

"You did all the hard work"

I got to cut the umbilical cord and our baby was weighed and measured and then I finally got to hold the baby. My heart melted when I saw the ocean blue eyes that matched mine, but the tanned skin and nose was all Kie. We created this tiny human together... I'm a dad...

"Welcome to the world baby Maybank, daddy loves you so much" I whispered

I placed the baby back with Kie for more skin-to-skin. It was just the three of us for almost an hour. It was time to bring Mike and Anna in.

Kie held the baby and I went to get them. They saw me and got up with huge smiles.

"Ready to meet your grandchild?" I asked

"Hell yes!" Anna said practically running towards me

We walked back into the room and Anna started crying when she saw her daughter holding the baby. She went over to Kie and asked, "How's my baby girl?"

"I'm good, mom... Labor hurt like a bitch but it was all worth it"

"I'm so proud of you... And how's your little girl?" Anna asked with a big smile

"She's perfect" Kie smiled looking down at our daughter

Anna held her granddaughter and asked, "So what name did you guys decide on?"

Kie looked at me and smiled and I said, "Lily Anna Maybank"

"That's beautiful and I'm honored to have you pass the name Anna down" Anna said with the biggest smile

Mike held Lily and he was totally blinking tears away. He looked at Lily and then at me and said, "She's beautiful... She's a lucky little girl to have you as her parents"

"And now your daddy is going to understand why I was so protective of my little girl" Mike said looking at Lily and then at me

He handed Lily back to Kie and he hugged me and said, "You have a beautiful family, JJ"

Shit, now I was crying. Who would've thought that me and Mike would be crying and hugging? Not me. The hug broke and Anna said, "I'll take this over the fighting anyway"

"Me too" Kie smiled

Mike and Anna went home later on and it was just the three of us. We spent two days in the hospital and then it was time to bring our baby girl home.
