Kie's POV:

I got back to my house and took a shower. I laid in my bed and my mom walked by and said, "Sarah just got here. She told me that you and JJ broke up"

I didn't want to lie to my mom. She had been so supportive of me and JJ and she actually liked him. I couldn't blow our secret yet so I had no choice but to lie.

"Yeah, guess so. I don't really know. It might just be a big fight"

"You can talk to me about it if you want. You know I'm here for you"

"I know, thanks mom"

Sarah walked into my room and closed my door and she said, "Kiara, it's payback time... We're getting you on a date with someone to make JJ jealous"

"Sarah, I don't want to go on a date with anyone. I'm not really in the mood. He can do whatever he wants. It's not like we're together"

"He left last night and hooked up with some girl named Abby"

"Doesn't surprise me" I said as it's totally something the old JJ would do

Sarah and I hung out and went shopping. She told me that I needed some retail therapy. We spent the whole day on the mainland at the mall. I felt bad for lying to my best friend, but honestly it was kind of fun.

We went back to the Chateau and she asked if I was going to be okay to see JJ. I told her it was fine and I was more pissed than sad. We arrived at the Chateau and JJ was there with the boys. He saw me and he nodded his head and said, "Sup"

"Fuck off" I said walking over to the cooler and grabbing a beer

"Damn, someone needs a few more drinks after that beer"

"She knows you hooked up with that slut last night"

JJ smirked and he looked at me and said, "Yeah, I did... Best lay ever"

"Are you fucking serious? I don't want to hear about your stupid hook up. I can already see the disgusting hickeys on your neck"

JJ smiled and said, "They're fucking hot, like battle scars but sexy..."

"You know how I feel about hickeys, disgusting" I said trying not to think about the hickeys he left under my bra

"Dude, stop being a dick" Pope called JJ out

"Yeah, not cool, JJ" Sarah said pissed at him

"Guys, let him be a man whore. I'll just start hooking up with all the hot kooks" I challenged as I knew it would piss JJ off

"Go ahead, I dare you" He said

JJ calmed down and we ignored each other most of the night. We'd both occasionally drop comments to start a stupid fight. Our phones went off at the same time and my dad sent the schedule out. JJ and I worked together three times next week. Yes! Our plan was working.

JJ's POV:

Kie went home and I spent the night at the Chateau and John B sat me down and asked, "What's going on with you?"

"Nothing, I'm just over Kie. All we do is fight and I want my freedoms back"

"I get it and I support you either way but Kie's become my friend too. You'll always be my brother, but I still want her to hang with our group. Is that cool with you?"

"Yeah, it's fine. Doesn't bother me"

John B asked what happened and I lied and just said we started fighting a lot about the whole William thing. I felt bad lying to my brother but it was only until the plan worked. The end goal of this was to prove to Mike that Kie and I could work together. Thinking about it now, it seemed kinda stupid. But I guess it made sense at the time. Oh yeah, and hopefully we'd catch William stealing the money.

I showed up work Monday night and clocked in and Mike said, "Heard the news from my wife. I've gotta say it was the best news that I've heard in a while"

Fuck you, Mike! Your daughter broke up with her boyfriend and you're happy about it. Asshole! Ha, little do you know that we're still together and I totally don't regret screwing her on your desk, in fact, I'd do it again.

I started working and Kie and ai really didn't talk much. William was here and I kept a close eye on him. I hated that he was around Kie, but I trusted her and the plan. We closed for the night and I got on my bike and went to my house. A few minutes later, Kie pulled up. She got out of her jeep and I said, "Your dad sucks, he literally said him hearing about our break up is good news"

"Fuck him" She said kissing me

"If he wants your dad, I'd punch him"

"You still could, wouldn't bother me"

"Don't give me any encouragement" I said kissing her

She kissed me back before she said, "I have so much homework"

"I can teach you anatomy and biology and even chemistry" I said wanting to her to stay

"Chemistry? You don't know shit about chemistry"

"I know that you and I have it" I said smirking

"Smartass" She said leaning back into the kiss

She left a few minutes later and I saw a text from 'Madison'. Turns out changing each others names in our phones was a good idea. Kie decided she didn't like the name Abby so her new secret name would be Madison. I picked Rudy to be my fake name.

Madison: I still want that anatomy and biology lesson from you

Rudy: You'll get it, don't you worry

Madison: Can't wait 👩‍🔬🔬🧬

Rudy: More like 🍒🍑🍆💦👌👈💋

Madison: so immature 🙄

I put my phone down and got ready to catch some waves. I surfed for a bit and then I went home and took a shower.

* i would just like to add that i'm just using madison and rudy as the names as i thought it would be fun to use their real names - in no way am i shipping madison and rudy together, this is still jj and kie in the story just using their real names *
