JJ's POV:

The girls picked us up and we were heading to the mainland for our date. We had no idea where we were going, but it was pretty early in the morning. Kie drove and she pulled into an amusement park. I've always wanted to go here but this place is hella expensive.

We went in and got wristbands that the girls bought. I looked at Kie and asked, "You sure you're feeling better?"

"I'm great" She smiled

We went on our first ride and Kie laughed the whole time. We spent the morning going on all the fun rides. We took a break for lunch and then we went on some mellow rides.

We came across a photo booth and Sarah insisted we all go in. In the first picture, we all smiled and the next one was a funny picture. We had two pictures left and Kie and Sarah posed and I did something stupid with John B. In the last one, I grabbed Kie and kissed her. Sarah was kissing John B on the cheek.

The pictures turned out super cute. We decided to go back on some more rides. We stayed until the park closed and there were fireworks. Kie and I snuck away from John B and Sarah.

Kie and I stood back and she rested her head on my shoulder as we watched the fireworks. I looked at her and she looked so beautiful. She looked at me and said, "You're missing the fireworks"

"I'd rather watch you watch the fireworks" I admitted as I loved watching how her eyes lit up every time one exploded into the sky

"You're so cheesy" She rolled her eyes

I kissed her head and we watched the grand finale when Kie tapped me and pointed at John B and Sarah kissing. She grabbed her phone and took the cutest pictures, she then took a few selfies of us.

The fireworks ended and I yelled, "Get a room"

The two broke apart and laughed and Kie said, "We ship it, Jarah"

They decided to go public with their new relationship right away. They posted a picture on Instagram and Kie and I both immediately commented. We posted one with John B and Sarah and captioned it as our favorite people to go on a double date with.

I drove Kie's jeep back home and we dropped ourselves at the Chateau and then Kie and Sarah headed back to her house. John B couldn't stop smiling.

"Dude, I'm dating Sarah Cameron"

"Yeah, you are and I'm dating Kiara Carrera"

"Who would've thought we'd be dating the two hottest kooks" He laughed

We went inside and we couldn't stop talking about how much fun we had. John B and Sarah had plans to hang out tomorrow but we agreed that we needed to go on another double date and it was our turn to plan it.

Kie's POV:

Sarah and I were laying in my bed still talking about the day we just had with our boyfriends. She was the happiest I've seen her in a long time. She told me that she wanted a relationship like mine and JJ's.

"Can you believe that we're both dating pogues? The kooks are going to hate us"

"Screw the kooks" I replied

"My dad is going to murder me"

"I'm honestly shocked my dad hasn't murdered me or JJ yet"

Sarah and I stayed up for hours talking about JJ and John B. She was also surprised about how cool my mom was with the whole JJ thing. We fell asleep and the next morning, we got up and went downstairs. My mom was still home and she said, "Looks like the two of you had a fun night. I see you have a new boyfriend, Sarah"

"Yeah, he asked me out last night. We've hung out a few times before"

My mom was happy for Sarah and John B. I loved how easy it was for my mom to talk to us. Sarah's mom died when she was little so my mom kinda became like her mom as she didn't like Rose, her step-mom.

I dropped Sarah off at home and wished her luck talking to her dad about John B. I went home and asked my mom, "Have you and dad figured out what to do about the missing money from the Wreck?"

"No, there hasn't been any money missing lately. We're keeping a close eye out for anything suspicious"

"Well, I swear that JJ and I were together all night"

"I know it wasn't either of you" She said looking into my eyes

A few days had gone by and nothing exciting has happened. Except for tonight, it was the middle of the night and my phone was going crazy. I picked it up and I had bunch of missed calls from JJ and a text saying he was outside my house.

I went to the front door and I opened the door. JJ's shirt was all ripped up and covered in blood. His lip was cut and bleeding and his face was all red and bruises were forming. He had tears in his eyes. He looked so broken.

I started crying as I saw him. He looked at me and said, "He came home. I didn't know where else to go"

I immediately knew that he was talking about his dad. I gently hugged him as he broke down crying in my arms. I brought him up to my room and into my bathroom.

He took his shirt off and I began cleaning him up. He changed clothes and he was in so much pain. I looked at him and asked, "Should we go to the hospital?"

"No" He said

I finished cleaning up his wounds. I've never him this bad before. I looked at him and softly kissed his cheek and said, "I'm so sorry that he hurt you. You don't deserve this. You are amazing and I am so lucky to have you in my life. I love you"

He was crying and he couldn't look at me, like he didn't believe what I was saying.

"Look at me, JJ" I said softly

He slowly looked up into my eyes and I said, "I love you"

I leaned in and kissed his lips so gently. It was just a quick kiss and then I hugged him. I brought him over to my bed and we laid down together. He was crying and he said, "My dad was going to kill me"

His head was laying on my chest and one arm was wrapped around him and the other was playing with his hair. I didn't even know what to say to him except, "You're safe now"

I kissed his head and he just quietly cried as my mom and dad opened my door and turned the lights on. My dad was pissed because he saw JJ in my bed.

"Fuck! Get the hell out of my daughters bed" He screamed

"Mike, stop... Kiara, what happened?" My mom asked noticing JJ wasn't okay

"His dad came home" I said

"Is he okay?" My dad asked

"Not really..."

"Okay, let us know if you need anything. We can bring him to the doctor if that's bad" My mom suggested

"He said he's okay. I'll let you know"

My dad didn't seem to care that JJ was going to spend the night with me. He looked at us and said, "Take care of him and come get us if you need us. I promise to help and not be mad. Luke deserves to rot in jail"

My parents left my room and closed the door behind them. JJ just laid there on my chest crying himself to sleep.

"J, please don't cry yourself to sleep. I'm here whenever you're ready to talk"

"I don't know if you're ready to hear it"

"I'm ready, nothing changes the way I feel about you. I love you for exactly who you are... I just want to help you. I love you more than you'll ever know"

JJ started crying harder and I didn't know why. He whispered, "That's exactly what I needed to hear right now"
