Kie's POV:

JJ and I were surfing at the beach when we spotted Lucas and some kooks. Lucas left the group and walked up to us and JJ quickly said, "Walk away, Lucas"

"That wouldn't be any fun, not would it?" Lucas smirked looking me up and down

JJ said, "Don't ever fucking look at her like that again"

"She's hot as hell, I can look at her all I want... Oh the things I used to do to her... You should have heard how she'd moan my name. I know you miss me, Kiara"

"I love JJ, I never loved you"

Lucas reached out and put his hand on my hip/waist. I pushed him off and JJ stepped in front of me. He looked at Lucas and said, "Don't ever fucking touch my girlfriend again"

"Aww, cute looks like he is already turning into his father" Lucas said trying to start something

"Fuck off, Lucas! And for the record, the sex with you was awful"

JJ laughed and Lucas said, "You want me, don't lie"

"You know that night when I texted her about the blackmail picture, she came to my house. She told me not to post the picture and she sucked my dick. She doesn't love you, and she never will. She loves me and has been to my house multiple times to hook up. She's just using you bro, I know it sucks to hear but you deserve the truth. She's a slut for me, she can't help herself when..."

JJ cut Lucas off by punching him. I couldn't even try to stop him. It all happened so fast. JJ hit him hard. Lucas bent down holding his face and his lips was bleeding. He hit JJ back and JJ hit him again, this time he got two hits in and Lucas fell backward.

"Stay the fuck away from Kie" JJ said walking away

I followed him and we got our surfboard and got in my car. JJ didn't say a word to me. I returned to his house and said, "You know everything he said was a lie, right? I never even went over to his house that night and I haven't hooked up with him"

"I know, I trust you"

"Thank you for protecting me" I said crying

"Why are you crying?"

"Because you got hurt trying to protect me"

"This? This is nothing. I'll be okay" He played it off as he put his board away

I hugged him and it was a long hug. I felt like he was mad at me. He seemed different like something was bothering him.

"Please talk to me, I know something is bothering you"

"I just hate him, I hate that you were with him..."

"So do I, but I'm never going back to him. I love you and I only want you"

He kissed me and then he got ready to work at the Wreck. I dropped him off and my dad saw him get out of my car. I looked at JJ and said, "You should tell my dad to fuck off just like you did with Lucas"

"I'd love to, but that would only make things worse for us" JJ said walking around to the driver's side and I put my window down

He leaned in and gave me a quick kiss, "I love you, babe"

"Love you too, babe" I echoed his words which caused him to blush   

JJ's POV:

I lost it tonight and I punched Lucas. I didn't want to, but I wanted him to know that I would do whatever it takes to protect Kie. I didn't like what he was saying to her or how he was touching her.

Kie dropped me off at the Wreck and Mike totally watched me get out of Kie's jeep, I really didn't care. She was my girlfriend. I kissed her goodbye and headed inside to clock in. Mike was waiting there and he said, "Looks like you got a nice goodbye kiss"

"Yeah, from my girlfriend" I said as he sounded mad that he watched me kiss his daughter

I got right to work and tonight, Mike was giving me all the shitty jobs. He made me stay late to clean the grill which was the worst thing in the world and took around two hours to complete the process. Usually, the two guys who cook do it. I looked him dead in the eye and said, "I'll do it, but what happened to kepeing work and our personal issues seperated"

"You kissed my daughter at work, you're the one who started it" Mike said leaving for the night

I texted Kie and told her I had to stay late. I told her not to come as it would only make things worse. I got home super late and I took a shower as I smelled like crap from cleaning the grill. I went into my room and saw Kie was asleep in by bed. I smiled to myself and carefully got into bed not to wake her up. The second I laid down, she moved closer to me and I wrapped my arms around her.

"I'm sorry about my dad" She whispered

"It's okay, I'll deal with it becasue I love you, now go back to sleep, princess" I whispered

Kie and I woke up to strong wings. She had a text from her mom

Anna: The hurricane is moving in faster than expected. You need to come home right away. I need you safe, honey

Kie: What about JJ? I can't leave him alone. I'm either staying with him or he's coming with me

Anna: Your dad isn't going to like that and you can't hide JJ in your room for that long

Kie: Then I'm staying here

Anna: Come home and bring JJ

Kie showed me the messages and I honestly didn't want to go, but I knew her house was safer than this shithole. I packed some clothes and then I drove us over to her house. We walked inside and Mike and Anna were waiting for us. Mike stood up and said, "JJ can stay here for a few days but there are some rules. If I catch you breaking any of these rules, I'll kick him out and I don't care if it's in the middle of a hurricane"

We both nodded as Mike said, "JJ will spend the night in the guest room, you'll stay out of each others rooms, and I better not catch the two of you kissing"

"Yes, sir" I agreed to his rules

"Sure, dad... Whatever you say" Kie answered annoyed

"Do I have you permission to walk JJ up to the guest room?"

"Kie, don't be like that" Mike said

"Go ahead, just keep the door open" Anna said

Kie brought my upstairs and she said, "Don't try breaking his rules or he might murder both of us"

"I'm just happy he let me stay"

"Me too" She smiled as we walked back downstairs and sat on the couch

Anna showed us where the hurricane was on the news and it would be here later tonight. The next few days would be intresting. Mike looked at me and said, "I forgot to prep the Wreck outside. JJ, will you come give me a hand?"

"Sure" I said as Mike and I headed out to his truck to go to the Wreck
