Kie's POV:

The next day, Sarah called me crying. She told me that she broke up with Topper and he didn't take it very well. I immediately got in my car and drove to her house. I went right up to her room and hugged her.

She told me everything and apparently Topper didn't take the break up well, shocker. I comforted Sarah and she said, "I'm not even sad. I'm just mad at myself for letting him treat me so badly for so long"

"You deserve so much more and I happen to know that John B has a huge crush on you. I think you should give him a chance"

"Kie, I love you but I'm not you. I don't think I can date a pogue"

"Just start with being friends" I suggested

"Okay, fine... But I don't want to be alone with him yet. Baby steps"

"Baby steps, I promise" I said texting JJ and telling him that Sarah and Topper broke up

Kie: I'm with Sarah right now. She broke up with Topper today

JJ: Operation Jarah has officially started

Kie: I'm thinking a double date

JJ: Yes! Where should we go?"

Kie: Somewhere private where they are forced to talk

JJ: Hmmm

JJ: We could just do something at the Chateau... Let me and JB plan it

Kie: Okay, I trust you to plan a good date

JJ: I could go for another bath date

Kie: Me too! Next time my parents go out of town

I put my phone down and focused on Sarah. We talked crap about Topper and Lucas and I told her how happy I was with JJ and tried to get her to see how happy she could be with John B. She smiled and said, "He is super hot and when we're together, he's always so sweet to me"

We spent another hour talking about the pogues and I was excited to see what John B and JJ were going to plan for us this weekend. I went home that night and went to bed. Finally, the weekend rolled around and Sarah and I showed up at the Chateau. Today was the day of the big date.

John B looked super nervous, it was actually kind of adorable. JJ walked over to me and gave me a quick kiss. He said it was just super lowkey. Inside, JJ got takeout from the Wreck and there was a table set up with a candle. I noticed it was only set for two. We left John B and Sarah inside to eat and JJ and I sat out on the dock eating. We were talking about how we thought their date was going.

"I'm so glad we never went through that awkward dating phase. You know that awkward first date and then the awkward first kiss... I'm glad you got all that out of the way with the rain kiss"

"Me too, I didn't even have time to process my nerves. I just kissed you and all my nerves went away and now I can kiss you whenever I want" He said giving me a quick kiss

JJ's POV:

John B was pretty nervous for this date. He was asking me a bunch of questions about what to talk about. I promised him that things would work out and told him he had nothing to worry about.

Kie and I were out on the dock eating our food and talking when John B and Sarah came outside holding hands. They started a fire and we joined them. The conversation was good and the two of them were being super flirty. Kie and I were like proud parents.

It was getting late and the girls had to leave. I walked Kie to her car and kissed her goodbye. John B walked Sarah to the other side and we totally saw them kiss. We were both smiling and I whispered, "Nothing better than best friends dating best friends"
