Kie's POV:

My dad and JJ were outside forever talking. I eventually went to bed and laid there waiting for him. He came in and got ready for bed and laid down next to me. He smelled of weed.

I curled up next to him and asked, "So you got nigh with my dad? How was that?"

"It was fine, he's coming around" He answered

He kissed me goodnight and we both fell asleep. The next day, was super busy in town. My dad and JJ seemed to talk today and get along. I wondered what they talked about.

When in town, I whispered to my mom, "What did they talk about last night?"

"I don't know, your dad wouldn't tell me"

"JJ didn't say anything to me either" I whispered to my mom, who was also like my best friend

It was weird seeing my dad and JJ get along, a good weird. The two were laughing and joking around. There was this shop that sold bongs and shit like that. My dad said in a joking manner, "Look JJ, there's a store for you"

"I think that stores for you, considering your the one who brought the weed"

The two were going back and forth but not in a fighting way, in a joking way. I guess it was nice to finally see the two of them getting along. There was this tattoo store and I looked at JJ and said, "We should get matching tattoo"

"Let's do it" JJ agreed

"What are you getting?" My mom asked

"I'm getting JJ's name tatted on my forehead" I joked

"She wants waves behind her ear" JJ told my parents

I got the waves done and JJ decided to get the same tattoo on his tricep. They were super tiny and when JJ went to pay for them, my dad put his card down and paid for them. I was shocked as my dad always told me he hated tattoos.

"Your tattoos look pretty cool" My dad said smiling

"Thanks, dad.. Did you ever see the turtle tattoo I got?" I asked and he hadn't seen it so I showed it to him

We had the best day!

JJ's POV:

The next morning, we were heading out into the city and Mike and I were outside waiting for Anna and Kie who had to run back inside for a few things.

"So do you remember everything from last night?" I asked Mike as we were both high

"Of course, I meant what I said. You have my blessing, but let's be honest, Kiara would marry you without it"

"I know she would, but it will mean a lot to her when she knows I had yours and Anna's blessings"

Anna and Kie walked outside and we quickly shut up. We weren't going to tell the girls what we were talking about for obvious reasons.

That night, we were all dressed up eating dinner at that fancy restaurant. It was outside under this cut bamboo hut thing when it started to rain. I looked at my girlfriend and asked, "Care to go dance and play in the rain?"

"I love to" Kie smiled as we both got up and I grabbed her hand as we ran out into the rain together

We were both soaking wet within a few minutes. We danced and then I kissed her and I could feel her wanting to deepen the kiss. I didn't want to kiss her with tongue in front of her parents but she didn't seem to care. I allowed her tongue in for a few seconds before I broke away.

"Look" I said as Mike and Anna had joined us

They were dancing in the rain and not paying attention to us.

"That's adorable" She said taking a picture and a quick video of them

She put her phone away and continued to dance and makeout with out me. I thought about proposing here. I had the ring on me and it was perfect. We were happy and it was in the rain, which was kinda our thing. But I held back from popping the question. It wasn't because I wasn't ready to ask her, I was so ready!

I just had the best proposal place pop into my head. I just had to figure a lot of details out first.

We eventually stopped and some teenager stopped Kie and said, "Sorry, that was adorable so I took a video. Let me airdrop it to you"

Kie got the video and we all headed back to the airbnb to dry off and get ready for bed. Kie and I headed right for the shower. We got in the shower with our clothes on and the warm water felt amazing.

We were making a ton of noice peeling our wet clothes off and Kie started laughing and said, "My parents totally know we're in the shower together"

"I'm sure they're doing the same thing we are" JJ said

"Gross, you're killing the mood here" She said

"I'll fix that" I kissing her again

That night, we didn't leave our room and breakfast the night morning was awkward.

"So, I'm guessing the two of you have a good night?" Anna asked

"Yeah, we just showered and hung out" Kie answered

"Funny, we did the same thing" Anna said smiling at her husband

"Yeah? I'm leaving this conversation" Mike said getting up from the table and heading to his room to get ready for the day

The rest of the trip was amazing and Mike and I were much better now. He even gave me a joint to share with Kie on our last night. We were on the flight back home and Kie slept almost the whole flight. She was probably getting sick.

We landed late and Mike dropped us off at our house and Kie and crashed immediately. We were both so exhausted from the trip. We had prom coming up soon. I had my final alterations done on my suit and Ann was going to pick it up. I was pretty excited to surprise my girlfriend with it.
