JJ's POV:

I woke up in Kie's bed with her in my arms. It was early and she was still asleep. I knew we had to get up and go to school. I didn't want to leave but I also didn't want her parents to catch me here. I carefully got out of bed and kissed her forehead before sneaking out.

I headed to the chateau and went back to bed for a few hours before I had to get up for school. I hated early mornings. Last night was such an amazing date. The pot brownies were amazing.

John B woke me up for school and I texted Kie

JJ: Good morning! Sorry, I left early this morning before your parents were awake. That was the best date and those brownies were amazing, plus it ended with a sleepover

Kie: Your turn to plan the next date

JJ: You've very confident that they'll be another one

Kie: We never got to use that condom last night. There better be another one

JJ: Saturday. You. Me. A day out on the HMS

Kie: HMS????

JJ: John B's boat. The good old HMS Pogue

Kie: Sounds perfect except it's supposed to storm on Saturday

JJ: I like the rain

Kie: Storm you idiot, not just rain. You know, lightning, thunder, hail

JJ: It won't storm. Our plans are more important

Kie: We'll see about that... I gotta go, just got to school

JJ: Have a great day at the kook academy, princess

Kie: 🖕🖕🖕

I sat in school daydreaming all day. This girl has literally been all that I can think about. On Saturday, I want to ask her to officially be my girlfriend. I just planned on spending the day out in the marsh on the HMS together. I didn't have any big plans. I kinda wanted her to come to the Chateau and hang with me, John B, and Pope.

Just let them meet her and hang out by the fire or something. John B kinda knew her, but I wanted him to see us together. I hoped Kie would be okay with it. I know she told Sarah about us so it's only fair that I told my friends about her. Besides, it's not like John B or Pope care enough to tell anyone.

After school, I headed to the Wreck for work. When I arrived, Mike was there. He seemed like he was in a great mood.

"Hey, JJ!"

"Hi, Mr. Carrera" I nodded getting right to work

It was pretty quiet tonight, but Kie stopped in. She sat at the bar and talked to her mom who was working. I can sense that her and her mom are pretty close. She's also told me that her mom is pretty cool. Sarah stopped by too and the three of them just talked.

I caught Kie glancing over at me and I walked over and asked, "Do you guys want something to eat?"

"Onion rings please" Sarah said

"I'll have the same"

I went back in the kitchen to grab them and a put their plates down in front of them. I got back to work and I overheard Sarah say, "Wow, I'm impressed with him. I think he's one of the better employees you've hired"

Anna smiled and said, "Who would've thought"

I focused on work and I was walking into the kitchen the same time Kie was walking out of the bathroom. I whispered, "Don't kiss me with onion breath"
