"Right.. Left.. Down.. Left.. Left.."

I dodge and punch at Josh's commands.

"Kick.. Higher.. Right.."

"What's up losers?" Anna calls.

My face breaks out into a grin. I look over to where she was and feel my heart swoon.

Josh suddenly charges at me. I duck, flipping him over my back.

"So much for a distraction," he mutters.

Anna giggles and I help Josh stand before jogging over to Anna.

"Hey, love," she greets.

I step onto the fence and lean over, kissing her softly. "How was the hunt?"

"Fine. I finally beat Jesus on walker kills on a run."

"Badass," I praise, kissing her again.

"We heading to the big house for dinner?" Josh questions, jumping up to straddle the fence.

"Earl is prepping the new furnace. I think we got enough on the hunt to have a party," Anna explains. "Alden got two deer alone. We're gonna eat good tonight."

"I'll go help skin," Josh decides. "Ellie, we on again for tomorrow?"

"What? So I can kick your ass again?" I tease.

Josh playfully jabs punches at the air. I flip him off before he takes off to help with a grin on his face.

"You wanna see if your mom needs help?" Anna asks, taking steps backwards.

I make a pained noise and roll over the top of the fence. "But.."

Anna laughs and takes a few quick steps backwards.

"Anna!" I complain, chasing after her.

She darts off the the main house. I huff and run after her. I finally catch up and throw my arms around her waist, ducking under her arm and forcing myself in her arms.

"Clingy," she scolds.

"You've been on those hunts like every week," I remind. "I miss you."

"We need to eat, Ellie," she taps my nose.

I make a face. "Josh can only be so entertaining. He can't keep my attention like you can, though."

"Well, did you think that maybe if you stopped going over to the Oceanside patrol and planning-"

"Shh.." I shake my head.

Anna goes to say something else but I place my lips on hers to silence her.

"I need to do this. And for now, we need to be quiet about it," I remind in a whisper.

Anna nods and cups my face in her hands. I smile a bit before she kisses me. We stay like that for a few minutes. Breathing was an afterthought. Once we started, it was hard to pull away.

It's been a year since Rick spared Negan's life.

Since then, mom gave birth to she and Glenn's baby. I got to name the sweet little boy. I named him after the biggest influence the Greene and Rhee family has ever known.

Hershel Rhee. My little brother. He was perfect in every way shape and form. 

Jesus, Enid, Anna, Josh, Alden, and I all helped to lead Hilltop when mom's pregnancy got further along. She was starting to get back in the swing of things. She's been back to training and such, but no runs just yet.

"You guys wanna help me shovel horse shit?"

I throw my head back. "Ken!"

Marco snickers as he and Ken walk over.
