Ellie's feet froze in place as she and Glenn look at the destroyed wall- walkers flooding inro Alexandria. Maggie and Anna were still on their watchpost, Anna was looking at an injury on Maggie's thigh.

"How.. How do we.." Ellie struggles. She looks up at Glenn like he had all the answers.

"They're flooding in through the west wall.. If we circle aroun-"

"What if we stay out here?"

"What?"

"I mean- don't not help but.. What if we try and divert them from out here. Cars or guns or.. something."

"That post is gonna fall at any second. We need to help them now."

Maggie's leg had gotten cut by a piece of wood that fell off the building.

Anna slices the bottom of her shirt with her knife.

"It's not bad," Maggie tries again.

"It's still bleeding. I'm just gonna wrap it," Anna assures.

"Do you know how? If not.. I can figure it out."

Anna shakes her head ind denial. "I used to patch my dad and brother up when they got back to camp from runs."

"Before here?" 

"We were holed up in a museum. First, it was just dad that went out. Then, he started trining Josh and Josh started going with him. He was just starting my training when Eric found us."

"Must've sucked holding down the fort," Maggie comments as Anna's delicate hands tend to her wound.

"I was kind of used to being along before all this.. It didn't bother me much."

"Yeah.. me, too."

"How?" Anna startles. "I mean.. You're just really nice and.. and pretty.. How were you lonely?"

"Ellie told you a bit about before. I told you about her dad.. I guess I just had this.. guilt?" Maggie tries to figure out the word. "So, I distanced myself from Ellie and Matthew. The others kid of fell in line with it because I was so isolated. They tried, but.. I couldn't."

"What changed?"

Maggie smiles softly. "I met Glenn. I fell in love. He helped me get back to myself and mend that fence with Ellie."

Anna hopes Glenn really did send those balloons. That he and Ellie were together.

"What about you?" Maggie asks.

"Josh was on a dance team in school. He had friends. I.. I wasn't really good at anything. I didn't have a hobby or a talent. So, I just.. Did nothing."

"What exactly is 'nothing'?"

"I played video games.. I read books. Nothing that gave me any fulfillment or anything like that. I was just.. passing time."

"What about now?"

Anna hums for a second, leaning back against the wall once she's sure the cloth is secure around Maggie's leg.

"I like listening to music. Taking walks around this place and.. even out there. Making plans on the future."

"What changed?"

Anna smiles shyly. "I met Ellie."

Suddenly, Anna's eyes widen and her head snaps to Maggie in a panic.

If Maggie had the same sentiment about Glenn.. What did that mean?

Maggie smiles. "Well, I'm glad Ellie met you, too. She wasn't used to being lonely before. Then, after she lost her dad, she started doing the same as me. Now, I see her old self coming back."
