"How is Canada, how is filming?" Gigi asks me. We barely make it out her door before she is asking me all kinds of questions.

As we go outside, into the rain, I push up the umbrella for the three of us. And then coverher daughter, khai with her strollers umbrella thing.

"Canada has been really fun. I am ready to be done though I want to come home and have my premieres."

"Yeah you're done filming, why are they having you stay out there?"

"I don't really have anywhere to go other than here, and also there's last minutes shoots there that they need me to do. And press."

"You amaze me." She says sarcastically.

"And you I."

"Wait so how's the love life? who's that kid I see you posting all the time now?"

"Ughhh Gigi," I groan and run into a little bit, showing the dream.

"What?" She asks laughing.

"His name is Jack Champion. He's an amazing friend, and I think we've gotten pretty close in the past two months,"

"Mhm," She hums, waiting for the rest.

"But you know me. I hate getting close with people. Men especially, and especially when I think there may be feelings on the way."

"Ahh," Gigi nods, understanding my frustration.

We walk in silence for a moment. Both of us are thinking of what to say.

"We kissed." I blurt out.

She looks over at me with her mouth gaping. "Char-"

"And I ran away."

"Like physically," She begins to run in place. "Ran?"

"Yep." She begins to laugh at me, grabbing my arm for support.

"Youre too funny girl."

"Stop. It's haunting me." I laugh with her.

"Why did you run?"

"Um I mean-"

"Did you want to kiss him?" She interrupts.

"I think yes. But I also think that it is happening wayyyy to fast."

"So tell him that." She says simply.

"Or just ignore him." I tease.

"No. He deserves more. We both know that. So you can tell him you need to take it slow or tell him about your past-"

"Or ignore him." I joke again.

"Im just saying you have a lot of options babes."

"I know I know." I look down at Khai in her stroller and shake my head. "Youre mom is no fun."
