As I start my car I smile and set down my phone. I havent been able to see Jack since the Halloween party. He flew back home, picked up his mom and came here  all in a different time than me.

We are all meeting up to go to get lunch.

She is only in town for about a week while Jack gets all settled in.

When I pull into the parking lot I take in a deep breath, and grab my phone once more.

As I wait for the rest of the people in the group chat to answer a tap sounds at my window.

I look up with shock from the sudden noise and see Jack smiling back at me. I smile and wave as I gather my things quickly.

I step out of the car. "Hey!" He embraces me as soon as I shut the door.

He laughs quietly as he squeezes me in a tight Jack hug. "Hi!" He says back, wrapping his hand around my back and leading me towards the sidewalk. "This is my mom."

I look up and see his mom standing, waiting for the two of us with a huge smile. I give her a smile back and we immediately give each other a big hug.

It is one of the best hugs I've ever gotten. She just is so calming. I think it's what a mom hug feels like.

"Hi babe, I'm Anna." Anna and Jack look a lot alike. The resemblance is crazy. 

"Hi Anna, it is so good to meet you." We pull apart and she still wears a smile. I turn around to Jack and give him a thumbs up. "You give amazing hugs."

They both laugh and then talk at the same time. "Thank you Charlie."

"You do mom." He assures her.

She rolls her eyes and we stand there for a second. "Do you guys wanna go in?" She asks.

I nod.

The entire lunch we all talk and laugh. Anna somehow seems to make the room warm. It feels like I am able to do anything.

If I could freeze those moments with them as would think my life would be perfect.

Everyone else freaked out and then the conversation slowly died down. I am glad we have a group chat now. I am dying to meet them.
