Too pretty to work

There once was a person so pretty, She thought work was for those who were gritty,
She decided to become an influencer, Posting selfies, her life couldn't be simpler.

Likes and comments poured in every day,
She basked in the glow of her social media sway,
But time passed by, and she grew old, Her beauty faded, her fame turned cold.

She tried to learn new skills to survive,
But nothing seemed to help her to thrive,
She realized too late, her mistake so grave,
That relying on her looks was not wise nor brave.

Now she struggles to make ends meet, Living a life that's far from neat,
If only she had taken the time to see, That beauty fades, but knowledge sets you free.
