War's a Devastating Stupidity

In the hearts of men, there lies a flame
That burns with a destructive aim It feeds on anger, fear, and hate
And brings forth wars, a terrible fate

From ancient times to present day Humanity has found a way
To wage destruction and cause pain And in its wake, nothing but a stain

We build our armies, train for war And think of victory as we roar
But in the end, what do we gain?
A world of sorrow, grief, and pain

The cost of war is far too high
The lives we take, the tears we cry The scars that last for generations
The hatred and the animations

We must find a way to end this strife And learn to live a peaceful life
To put aside our differences
And work towards our common interests

For in the end, it's love that wins
And only then, the healing begins Let's put an end to all this pain
And let peace reign, forevermore again
