Maturity is quite the trick,
It doesn't come in one big lick.
We can be mature in love and such,
But in other areas, not so much.
We may be grown in matters of the heart,
But in our work, we're just a start.
We'll laugh at silly jokes all day,
But our finances are in disarray.
We'll handle conflict with grace and ease,
But our fashion sense is stuck in the breeze.
We'll take care of others with a tender heart,
But forget to pay the bills, and we fall apart.
Maturity is not a straight line,
It's different for every mind.
So let's embrace our quirks and flaws,
And love ourselves, even with our immature laws.
