Entertainment's Wild Evolution

Entertainment, once monopolized 

By corporations, who controlled our eyes 

Manipulating content to their liking 

And showing only what they deemed exciting

But now, with the rise of social media 

Their power has been diminished, much easier 

The world has discovered talents abound 

In every person, waiting to be found

Each individual's specialty and knowledge 

Has been shown to the public, without any blockage 

No longer are we limited to what they choose 

The freedom to express is now ours to use

But with this avalanche of content galore 

Each person now a star, a character, and more 

Competition, as always, has become wild 

Bringing forth demons that were once kept in exile

The battle now rages on, more intense than before 

A new kind of struggle, with new players on the floor 

Entertainment has evolved, in ways unforeseen 

But with it comes a new set of challenges, unforeseen.
