Hate on Social Media

In the depths of cyberspace,
Where the trolls and haters roam,
There lies a darkness that we cannot erase,
A darkness that calls our own.

For in the shadows of the web,
The demons of our hearts come alive,
With cruel words and hateful deeds,
They seek to tear us apart and thrive.

Their jealousy and envy burns,
Like a wildfire out of control,
And they lash out at those who they perceive,
As a threat to their fragile ego.

They revel in the pain they cause,
And delight in the misery they bring,
For in their twisted minds,
This is the only way to feel like a king.

But what they fail to realize,
Is that their hate is only a reflection,
Of the darkness that lies within them,
A darkness that can lead to their own destruction.

So beware the demons of the web,
And the hatred that they sow,
For they are but a mirror of the darkness,
That we all carry within our souls
