From an early age, we must teach
The importance of respect, and reach Into their hearts and minds to show That the world does not revolve, you know

A

round their whims and every desire That others have needs that require Consideration, thought, and care
That respect is essential to share

We must guide them in the way
Of treating others as they would say They want to be treated themselves And never put others on dusty shelves

For each person, no matter how small Has value, worth, and can stand tall And we must instill in our young
That respect is where their hearts belong

So let us teach our children well
And in their hearts, the lesson dwell That respect is necessary and true And in every action, it will shine through.
