Sylvia woke up early in the morning feeling a little nervous and anxious about meeting Chase. She knew that she had forgiven him for what he did, but still, the thought of meeting him after a long time was giving her butterflies in her stomach. She decided to wear comfortable clothes that would make her feel confident yet relaxed. She chose to wear a loose-fitting shirt and a pair of jeans that hugged her curves in all the right places.

As she got ready, she kept checking the clock, making sure she had enough time to get ready and reach the coffee shop. Once she was ready, she grabbed her bag and headed toward her car. She took a deep breath and got in the driver's seat, started the engine, and drove towards the coffee.

The coffee shop was called "Cuppa" and it was known for its amazing coffee and baked goods. Sylvia had been to the coffee shop before and knew that it would be a perfect spot for her and Chase to catch up. As she arrived at the coffee shop, she saw Chase waiting for her outside. She parked her car and stepped out, feeling a little self-conscious.

Chase immediately hugged her as soon as she got out of the car. Sylvia hugged him back, taking in the moment. They both smiled at each other and walked towards the coffee shop. They ordered their coffee and found a cozy spot in the corner where they could talk privately.

As they sat across from each other, sipping on their drinks, Chase couldn't help but notice how beautiful Sylvia looked. He had missed her so much.

"So, how have things been going at work?" Chase asked, breaking the silence.

Sylvia smiled, grateful for the opportunity to talk about something other than her personal life. "It's been busy, but good. We've been working on some exciting projects, and things are starting to get back to normal."

Chase nodded, impressed. "That's great to hear. I know how hardworking you are, so they're really lucky to have you."

They continued to chat about work, catching up on everything that had happened since they last saw each other.

After a while, Chase shifted the conversation to Sylvia's family. "How have your parents been doing? And your sister?"

"My parents are doing okay, all things considered. Busy with work and doing their own thing. And my sister...well, she's trying to work on creating her jewellery brand so that's all I know so far."

Chase listened attentively, nodding excitedly. "That's amazing. She must be creative huh"

Sylvia nods her head while laughing. "In her weird nonsensical way, I guess."

As they talked, Sylvia found herself feeling more and more comfortable around Chase. It was like they had never been apart like they were picking up right where they left off. And when he reached across the table to take her hand, she didn't pull away.

They sat there, holding hands, lost in their conversation and each other. Sylvia couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and happiness spreading through her body. She had missed Chase so much, and it felt amazing to be back in his company.

As they finished their coffee and said their goodbyes, Sylvia couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. They walked towards her car, and the familiar tension between them started to pull them closer. As they stood in front of each other, Sylvia turned to say goodbye and open her car door.

But Chase couldn't resist any longer. He closed the door and suddenly kissed her, and the way she responded made him realize how much he had missed her. Sylvia felt a rush of emotions come back to her all at once. The kiss was soft yet intense, and it seemed like the world around them disappeared as they leaned into each other.

As they parted, Chase looked at Sylvia and smiled.

"I love you, you know that?" He softly whispers while tucking her hair behind her ear. Sylvia smiles back.

"I know, and I love you too Chase."

They hugged for a long time before Chase finally decides to let her go.

"Drive safe alright? I'll call you." He said to her and she nods her head with a smile.

Sylvia drove off with a mix of excitement and disbelief. She couldn't stop thinking about their kiss, how it felt so right, and how much she missed the familiarity of his lips on hers. She replayed the moment over and over in her head, feeling overjoyed at the prospect of what could be.

As she drove straight to work, Sylvia felt like she was on cloud nine, knowing that she and Chase have finally got back together. She was excited to start over with him and couldn't wait to see Chase again. For the first time in a long time, Sylvia felt alive and true happiness.
