the new baller in town

That week of training was exhausting, its completely different from the academy's style, but I like it, its working me harder and I'm getting to prove myself, last week a few of the girls had a little bit of a family feud and still aren't talking so our coach has called an emergency meeting to discuss what's going on, one person accused the other and some things were said, I don't need to be in the meeting however leah and Beth do, neither could agree on something I don't know the ins and outs of the ordeal but I have a feeling both may be benched for the game on Saturday.

Since that meeting all I have had to do Is listen to leah complain, and honestly I've had enough.
"I'm gonna go for a walk,"I say quietly leave g as she is still ranting over how it isnt fair she got benched when it is all Beth's fault. I don't care who's fault it was or is, what's done is done we are a team so shut up please.

The walk is nice although I wish I brought a jacket
"What you doing out here pretty lady," a random drunk guy asks putting his had on my waist.
" don't touch me,"I say with a tone of warning
"Do you want to have some fun,"he wispers in my ear.
" no I'm good, kindly fuck off and leave me alone," I say before removing his hand for the third time and leaving him looking slightly stunned.

Walking back into the apartment I dont know why but I feel gross, nothing even happened, I neednto get over it, but do i tell leah or do I just keep it to myself. Who knows I'll decide in a bit.
Lelahs already gone to bed so I just put the TV on as my mind won't shut up,about anything.
" why are you still up," leah mumble rubbing her eyes.
"Just couldn't sleep," I say quietly
"Come on," she says offering me a hand to help me get off the sofa. We go into my room and lay on my bed,"stop worry about whatever your worrying about, close your eyes and don't worry I will still be here when you wake up,"she say extremely quietly, I love mine and leahs relationship, I'm glad she's my sister, couldn't ask for anyone better.

Well game day, leah and Beth both on the bench for the starting line up, so I've been thrown in for it instead, I wish leah was playing as she would've been my other centre back.

As we are lining up I can here the crowd but I need to do whilst I used to do block it out I can't let the fact I making my debut in the starting line up effect how I play, I must have done something right to have even got into the drawing board for the starting 11 this week. We are playing Aston villa there line up is good but I think we are better, we'll I hope we are better, no you know what I know we are better. Okay, as we start to walk out we obviously have to do the team photo, Jordan doesn't appear to dislike me anymore, great, we fist bump the other team and goes to our positions taking the knee before the whistle is blown.
Kick off!

First half:
Pass after pass is being done but not leading to anything, we are sloppy, we are loosing the ball every 5 passes its like one of the childhood playground games, the other team are no better, they are also sloppy and not playing to the best of their ability. Nobbs, making her way towards goal, blocked by me I might take the run, screw it we aren't getting anywhere making my way up the field, viv makes the run so I pass out wide to her, no one in the box really, come on arsenal, continuing forward, I'm now the one in the box, viv cuts in back into me giving me the change to strike it into goal. In doing so I hear the crowed erupt into a wave of noise, viv coming to hug me along with most of the team.
"Well done schatje"(sweetie) viv wispers in my ear.
Well hopefully that woke the team up abit, maybe the will take there for of the break now, we are 1 up on villa and still have 10 minutes of the first half left .
Making my way back to my position, we see the sub board go up souza off, williamson on. Leah hugs me as she walks past into her spot, should be a good rest of the game now, we might be able to get another goal before half time. Sub board up again viv off, Beth on, definitely going to get more up pace now.
Another goal for us 2-0 before the half time whistle.

Half time.

"Right the first 35 minutes were sloppy, everyone could see that, villa were as well but your better than this, beautiful goal Ella and great assist to from viv, Beth another good goal from you, I want quicker passing, taking the ball forward stop holding onto it, but take it into the box, we aren't getting in there enough, come on, we can do this, going to make a few more changes, Wubben-Moy off,Weinroither on, and Martiz off for Catley, Ella stay on keep doing what your doing, Beth we need you to do what you do best, you have 10 minutes to prove you a worth being on that pitch, so prove it," the coaches speech.

The second half:

We are all tired, villa have awoken and are making us work twice as hard, Katie scored for us and Jordan scored for them so currently its 3-1 not bad but we still have 5 minutes all can change in a small amount of time as most of us know, I was right, corner 2 min left, I was told to go up, I have the hight Catley taking it, beautiful ball in, clips my head and the stadium erupts again, 2 goals in my debut game, not to shabby, sprinting back to centre back with leah we still have one more play in us, I believe.
4-1 is good but we can do better, I was right goal by Foord, in the last 5 seconds, final whistle blows and we did it we won, I knew we would but I did have some doubts in the first half
