It was announced that I am back at arsenal and we are on our way to our first game against Manchester city so this should be interesting.
"You alright love," Alessia says as she runs her thumb over my knuckles and kisses the top of my head.
"I'm great,so you know how we may be engaged and all that, I want to marry you but can we wait for like a year and then we can make sure everything is perfect in this space of time, I already know who I want as my wedding party," I say placing a gentle kiss on her jaw line.
" We can absolutely do that, we can discuss this when we are home, right now we need to get off the bus and warmed up to make sure we are good for the game, I'm so proud of you Ella, your amazing," she says warping her arms around me before we exit the bus.
"I'm nervous, I'm not going to lie, it's my first start for arsenal since I left 3 years ago, am I ready," I ask her holding her hand as we get filmed Heading into the changing room.
"It makes sense but the arsenal love you, you and Leah are the faces of this club, you are also the face of Barcelona, everyone love you, plus its me and you upfront baby, we have got this, lest destroy city," she says kissing my forehead just as the camera is turned to us.

The match

This atmosphere is electric there is a kind of buzz in the air as we take the field under the eyes of the crowd earning cheers as we walk out, they are all waiting for the clash among two of the top two teams.

As the ref blows the whistle signaling that the match is underway, both teams working well showing there true connection between each other, lessi and I are linking up our passing with excellent ball control and quick passing making sure that man city don't have a chance to get the ball.

I pass the ball back to Leah who crosses it into the box giving Alessia a chance to shot, but roebuck saves it, great save I'll admit that. It went off the back line so it's a corner now and Katie is doing a long pass, holy shit straight into the goal.
"Yes McCabe," I say jumping on her back.

  We make our way back to our positions and man city are now on the attack their midfielders creating a sequence of passes it's the same thing over and over again but they are slowly chipping away at our defense, this is a battle of tactics and skill today.

Bugger, they manage to get a shot on goal and it goes in, we all look disappointed that they have leveled the playing field, as we make our way back a whistle blows so we look around to see what's going on since we are only 40 minutes in. We see a crowd around Lia Wälti who looks over and Leah and I so we go over to make sure she is ok.
"You alright, " I say kneeling down and placing my hand on her shoulder.
"Can you grab that water bottle," she mumbles in pain.
"Of Course," I mumble moving her head onto my lap.
"What happened," Leah asks looking worried.
"Studs in my thigh," she say turning her head into my stomach to avoid cameras showing her in pain.
"It's ok," I say placing my hand on her shoulder and rubbing it," your ok."
"Lia, your going to have to come off," the medic says.
"No, put a bandage on it and let me play she says.
"Lia this isn't up for discussion you will need stitches, come on," they say pulling her off the floor.
"I'll help you off the pitch then I can go back on," I say wrapping my arm around her waist so she can lean her wait on me.
"Thank you," she say hugging me before I run back on the pitch.

The whistle blows again signalling to continue and we have 7 minutes of extra time so that's not too bad. And times up half time, that's not to bad 1-1 we just need to score 1 goal that's it.

Half time

"Alright, listen up! You've shown great determination and skill in the first half. We've had some close chances, and we know we can find the back of the net. Keep pushing forward, stay focused, and trust in your abilities. Remember, we're a team, and together we can achieve anything. Let's go out there in the second half and give it our all! We've got this, " Kim says boosting our energy.

Second half

The second half begins with both teams wanting to hair a victory and secure the 3 points for the table so it's getting a bit aggressive today. Katie is now on a yellow and so is Alessia which is shocking if I'm honest.

Man city is dominating the second half we have hardly touched the ball, we that was until I got hold of it and connected my left boot with it from outside the box close to the half way line and shoot.

I stand there in shock of what just happened it went in, I'm still stood there until my team mates jump on top of me all smiling, my hair gets ruffled a lot, but we still have 20 minutes left. 20 minutes to make sure they don't score. 20 minutes until we are at the top of the table.

We all drop back bar from alessia to put on a more defensive front so that it is harder to crack they are doing the same sequence passing so it's easy to track their ball, I get hold of it and run it up the pitch since most of them are trying to put up an attacking front, I cross it to Alessia who gets a touch on it sending it into the back of the net. I run over to her and place a kiss on her forehead before picking her up and spinning her around which earns me a yellow card for absolutely no reason. Oh well.

1 minute left and someone is tracking me since I have the ball I get barged off it and sent straight over the Barrier landing on my ass, it hurt but it was funny so it's fine, well the player got a red card since it was there second yellow, and then the whistle blows.

We won, we are at the top of the league, get in.
