the new baller in town

we collect our medals and Alessia and I had cute photos taken along side Leah and I having photos taken then I got called away for an interview thing with Leah.

"so it wasn't a bad final well a bad euros really. how have either of you felt throughout this entire thing like have you struggled," the interviewer asks and Leah and I look at each other.

" I mean I suppose we have struggled a little bit with the pressure but you never know what is going on inside someone's head, some people don't like to talk about how they feel others do and they don't know how to express it," I say earning a nod of approval from my older sister.

"that is a reasonable answer, now lets discuss this win, I mean obviously an important one you are both 2 time winners of the European championships, congratulations of the goals turned out to be a Williamson special today and it was a pleasure to watch. the lionesses have kept a clean sheet throughout the entire tournament that is something to be proud of, now Ella you captained the team to victory, what an achievement I mean your 22 look back at what you have achieved," the interviewer says shaking both of our hands.

" I mean obviously its an amazing achievement but it wasn't me that captained the team to victory I mean yeh I wore the armband but Leah and I have been working hard together to focus on our strengths and what we needed to achieve we have been alternating the armband and it worked we have different styles and it gave us a way through making it an easier competition and I hope to do it all over again in the next competition with her by my side, I wouldn't have made it through with out Leah," I say into the microphone as I receive a tight hug from Leah.

"ok Leah how do you feel about winning for a second time and how do you feel about being able to help with this victory and scoring your first international goal," she says handing the microphone to Leah who is still hugging me.

"well to score my first international goal in a final at that is amazing and having Ella by my side is even better I couldn't have done half of the things I have without her support," Leah says handing the microphone back. 

"so do either of you have any advice for the girls coming into football or ones who want to," she asks handing us the microphone again. 

" well I mean believe in your self even if no one else does, its up to you to flow your dreams and to make them happen work hard and good things will happen. you always have to be confident in your own abilities. confidence is key," I say looking at Leah to see if she has something to say, she takes the mic off of me.

"it gets to a point where you keep looking at everything you keep replaying every scenario in your head, but you cant do that it drives you insane, focus on the now. if people put you down remember this, you can kick me all you want but if I win, I win, so come again," she says smiling as the media team comes round with the camera. Leah hands me the microphone back and I continue with what I wanted to say.

" all you can do is try, you have to stand up for what you believe in even if you are left standing alone, its up to you to make a difference. tough times are temporary and nobody looks good when they are in their darkest hours but its those hours who make us who we become, to all the young girls and boys out their wanting to get into football or the ones that are just starting out, good luck and I believe in you, each and everyone of you," I say handing the microphone  back as me and Leah leave to celebrate with our team. 

we left the stadium and partied all night long I honestly don't know how we ended up still having energy but it was so worth it. Alessia and I spent the night by each others side enjoying the company and the adrenalin still continuing from the thing we have just accomplished. 

we can only do so much its up to everyone else to support us. the dance floor became more popular as the night went on and eventually our entire team ended up there as well as Sarina which was actually amazing those videos definitely went up on Instagram.
