Amber's POV:

"Typically a weekend retreat for the heart, soul and palate, brunch is the perfect way to unwind and reconnect."

As Amber left the city, she smiled to herself. "It's been a while," she thought. "I sure miss her. I'm so excited to see her. I haven't seen her since she became pregnant. It sure was fast. Guess Anthony wasted no time in creating an heir for the Fairview's name to carry on. I just hope he is being good to Karlie. I wonder about this Gabriella Baldwin; something about her name is stuck in my head. I really should call Andy. I've been so busy with wedding plans, I may have been neglecting my love."

She picked up her phone and dialed his number. "Hey sweetie, I've missed you," she smiled. "Hello, I miss you too. I'm so sorry, but I've been really busy with the wedding plans, it's okay I've had some family stuff going on with Aiden taking a break. All the work of managing the estate is on me," Andy replied.

"I understand, my love," Amber stated. "I'm going away as we speak. I'm off to Karlie's for the weekend, and I'm looking forward to relaxing for a little bit without any wedding talk."

Andy laughed, "I find it hard to believe that there will be absolutely no wedding talk, babe."

"Am serious, I'm just going to focus on her and the baby."

"Wait, Karlie is pregnant? Wow, that was fast."

"Yes, she is. I thought I told you."

"Well, no babe, you didn't. How far along is she?"

"I don't know. Why is that important, babe?"

"No reason. I'm just excited for her."

"Okay, babe. We will be having an extra guest at the wedding. Apparently, there is this new lawyer at our law firm that's new to town, has no family. My mother thought it was a good idea to invite her. I hope you don't mind."

"I don't, sweetie. The more, the merrier. I just can't wait to marry you."

"Me too, my love. Me too. Is there anything I can help you with?"

Amber asked, and Andy replied,"No, babe," "It's okay. Focus on our big day and please let me know once you get to Karlie's and give her my best, okay?"

"I will, babe. I love you. I'll text once I'm there." Amber hung up the phone. "Why did he ask how far along Karlie was? That was a weird question. He's maybe just curious or is he thinking that maybe Karlie is pregnant for Aiden? It would make sense. She did sleep with him at her birthday party. No, no, I'm just thinking crazy. She's been married to Anthony for about four months now, and she has never told me how he took it that she wasn't pure. There are just too many questions that are unanswered. But surely, if it was Aiden's baby, she would have told me at least, right?" Amber blushed the thought away because there's just no way. "I'm just overthinking that would be crazy. am just exhausted with all the wedding stuff. It's about to be a long drive." She closed her eyes. "I should sleep for a little while."

Amber took a well-deserved nap, so well that she hadn't awakened until her driver woke her up and told her, "We are here, Miss Sterling." As Amber opened her eyes, it was almost as if she was in another world. Anthony really outdid himself with his beautiful home. As Amber stepped out of the car, she couldn't help but look around. It was a mansion surrounded by a beautiful ocean view. You could hear the sounds of waves splashing. To top it off, they had a little garden with the most beautiful flowers of every kind. Wow, it was a secluded environment with no neighbors around. They could literally walk around naked. Amber smiled as Karlie came up and greeted her with a hug.

"I gotta say, lovey, the pictures don't do your home justice. It's beyond beautiful."

"Wow, the little guy is growing fast." She placed her hand on Karlie's tummy just in time to feel the baby kick. "Oh my goodness," Amber had tears. "That was amazing. Is he always this active?"
