Ariel's POV:

"She had waited for this moment her entire life. Dreamed of it. Fought for it. And now, as his hands roamed her skin, she convinced herself it was
everything she had imagined." – Author Unknown

She slipped out of the dress she wore to the wedding, unhooking her bra with trembling fingers.

Aiden's eyes fluttered open. He reached for her, pulling her down onto the bed. His touch was soft as he trailed kisses along her body, igniting a heat that spread through her like wildfire. She pulled him closer, searching his eyes, desperate to drown in them.

Their lips met—slow, passionate, intense.

Aiden groaned against her mouth. "Be a good girl for me ."

He laid back, his chest rising and falling with need. Ariel wasted no time, lowering herself between his legs, taking him in her mouth.

Aiden's head fell back, a deep moan escaping him. "Fuck—such a good girl." His voice was rough with desire, raw with hunger. "I can't wait any longer. I must have you. Now."

He flipped her over, pressing her into the mattress.

"On top." The command was gruff, firm—one she obeyed without hesitation.

As he entered her, she gasped—the pain sharp, splitting through her like fire.

Aiden gripped her hips, steadying her. "I got you," he murmured, voice thick with pleasure. "Move slowly... that's it... just like that."

She followed his lead, moving tentatively at first, then faster. His hands cupped her breasts, his mouth trailing down her neck, biting, sucking, claiming.

Ariel was moaning, gasping, caught in the dizzying pleasure of it all. This—this—was what she had been waiting for. Not the almost-moment with Anthony Fairview. Not the fantasies she had played over and over in her mind.

This was real.

Aiden suddenly flipped them again, pinning her beneath him. His hand wrapped around her throat as he thrust into her harder, faster.

Ariel screamed in pleasure.

"Shhh." Aiden silenced her with his mouth, swallowing every cry, every whimper. "Let go for me. I got you."

She wrapped her legs around his waist, giving him everything—everything.

Aiden grunted, gripping her tighter, pushing her to the edge.

"Atta girl," he praised, his thrusts relentless as he sent her over the edge again... and again.

When he finally let go, he collapsed beside her, chest heaving, body slick with sweat.

Ariel curled against him, satisfied, triumphant.

Aiden pulled her close, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.

"Raine," he murmured as he drifted off to sleep.

Ariel stilled.

Aiden's arms were still around her. His body was still warm, his breath steady.

She didn't care.

She had won.

She had her husband.

Ariel smiled, letting sleep take her—content in the cruelest lie she had ever told herself.

Aiden POV:

Betrayal doesn't come from enemies; it comes from those who claim to love you." – Unknown

The morning sun poured through the curtains, casting a golden glow across the room. Aiden stirred, his head pounding like a war drum, his body heavy with exhaustion. Something felt... off. His skin prickled, a slow, creeping awareness slithering up his spine.
