Steve and Kiara are on their way to the secret project that's gonna turn Steve into a super soldier.

'I know this neighborhood. I got beat up in that alley. And that parking lot. And behind that diner.'

'Did you have something against running away?'

'You start running, they'll never let you stop. You stand up, you push back. They can't say no forever, right?'

'I know a little of what that's like, to have every door shut in your face.'

'I guess I just don't know why you'd want to join the Army if you were a beautiful dame. Or a . . . A woman. An agent. Not a dame. You are beautiful, but . . .'

'You have no idea how to talk to a woman, do you?'

'I think this is the longest conversation I've had with one. Woman aren't exactly lining up to dance with a guy they might step on.'

'You must have danced.'

'Well, asking a woman to dance always seemed so terrifying. And the past few years, it just didn't seem to matter that much. I figured I'd wait.'

'For what?'

'The right partner.'

Kiara smiles to herself as they arrive at a little shop that's called "Brooklyn Antiques." They both get out of the car.

'This way.' Kiara says.

'What are we doing here?'

'Follow me.'

They both walk into the little shop. Kiara looks around and then sees an old woman walking in the shop from behind.

'Wonderful weather this morning, isn't it?' The old lady asks.

'Yes, but I always carry an umbrella.'

The woman smiles, knowing Kiara knows the password as she walks to her desk and pushes on a button.

Steve is currently in the machine as everyone sits down.

'Do you hear me? Is this on?' Erksine asks. 'Ladies and gentlemen, today we take nog another step towards annihilatoin, but the first step on the path to peace. We begin with a series of microinjections into the subject's major muscle groups. The serum infusion will cause immediate cellular change. And then, to stimulate growth, the subject will be saturated with Vita-Rays.'

Erskine checks upon Steve to see if he's good and ready.

'Serum infusion beginning in five, four, three, two, one.'

Then the machine is powered up by Howard Stark. And the serum slowly drains into Steve's body.

'Now, Mr. Stark.'

Everything goes well, until Steve starts to scream. Kiara quickly runs into the room. Peggy wants to stop her, but fails.

'Out of my way, Peggy.'

'Steven!' Erskine says worried. 'Steven!'

'Shut it down!' Kiara warns.

When nobody does anything, Kiara says again.

'Shut it down!'

'Kill the reactor, Mr. Stark.' Erskine orders. 'Turn it off! Kill it! Kill the reactor!'

'No!' Steve screams. 'Don't! I can do this!'

After a big white light, Howard opens the machine Steve is in. Everyone is looking at it with curiosity.

Then a much, much bigger Steve is to be seen in the machine and eveyone looks at him with wide eyes.

'Steven. Steven.' Erskine says as he helps getting him out.

'O my god.' Kiara says as she runs down.

'I did it.' Steve says exhausted.

'Yeah, yeah. I think we did it.' Erskine says.

'You actually did it.' Howard says.

'How do you feel?' Kiara asks as she looks at Steve.

'Taller.' He says, still exhausted.

'You look taller.' Kiara says as she hands him a shirt.

After a while the place starts to explode.

'Stop him!' Someone warns as a man takes the last serum bottle.

Then Erskine gets shot a few times and drops to the ground.

'No!' Kiara says as she drops next to him.

Steve drops down, too and looks at him with guilt. Erskine points to his heart and then closes his eyes.
