~ jules pov
i woke up in confusion. until i realized where i was. my heart drops as i sat up. jayden's nowhere to be found. she comes out her bathroom brushing her teeth. why does she looks so hot?? she never looked in the mornings before.
"good morning" jayde says softly
i check her out for a second before snapping back into reality, "are your parents home like still??" i ask
she scrunches her eyebrows, "they're always here.. why?" she asks
i saw the look she gave me. such a i want you look, "i've gotta jump out the window that's why my dad is probably gonna tell my mom if i'm not home like now" i say
"are you still grounded?" she asks
"no but my mom has my location and she'll check it if i'm not home before 9" i say
"jump out the window then" she says
i pause but then get up to get my stuff together. she staring at me as i get my stuff together so i look at her, "you're not gonna help me get out?" i ask
she shakes her head, "why do i need to do that?" she asks
she would help me before. what's going on with her today? i lost eye contact, "i got it i guess" i say
"might wanna hurry my dad leaves in about 10 minutes" she says
i got all my stuff and as i was walking to the window i kinda stop myself. i turn and face her. we're looking at each other across the room, "you know this is usually the part where you beg me to stay and attack me with kisses and we have sex again" i say
she giggles, "i don't do that with people who aren't my girlfriend" she says
oh😐, "right" i say
"bye" she says
"but i can't leave something doesn't feel right.. you're being like..." i say
she raises her eyebrows, "nonchalant?" she asks
"yes and i don't like that" i say
she smiles a bit, "why would i care about you leaving me? you do it all the time anyways" she says
damn. that was dark, "jayde i'm sorry" i say
"no it's fine i'm used to it seriously go you'll ghost me eventually and then text me to fuck and do this again and then it's a repeated cycle because you don't want to be in a relationship with me" she says
i raise one eyebrow, "i'm sorry what? where did you get that from?" i ask
she pulls out my notebook from behind her back and my heart drops. she tosses it on her bed.
"guess we both have secrets we don't tell each other. bye jules." jayde says
she walks back into the bathroom and i get my notebook and get out the window. i rush to my car and drive off. i had years worth of secrets in this notebook and she probably read all of them. but she saw the one i wrote recently about her. i wrote it when i was mad. i know what i want. i just can't have it right now.
4th period - lunch 🥪

"omg no she didn't say that that's so fucked up" kianna says
"great another reason for you to leave her" dev says with a smile.
it's lunch and i'm outside with the friend group at our table eating and talking. i showed them the picture i took of the page she wrote about me. eddie isn't here yet. i haven't been able to tell eddie anything he works with her. and he really likes her he knows her pretty well i think as well as her best friends and he doesn't say anything bad about her anymore. i stopped asking eddie about her because i didn't wanna seem like i was obsessed.
