tonight bronny comes back. good thing i have a basketball game tonight so i won't be there until 9. i might fuck around and not come home i'm terrified. i talked with my mom this morning and she said they're gonna have him on house arrest and he's gonna have a parole officer come in to check on him every week for 3 months. jules and i are fine we're just staying in that talking stage. she's upset about what i said yesterday but i don't wanna waste my time on her because she can't let me go. i have to go on if she's not gonna make it official. i love her don't get me wrong but i can't just stay doing stuff with her knowing i have feelings for her and that she's not gonna make anything official. i wanna introduce her as my girlfriend to my family not my friend. i wanna take her on my family vacations. i want her and my mom to bond like best friends and her and my dad the same. i want a future with us. i really want it. i just left basketball practice now i'm walking outside to the quad where my friends are. i walk outside and greet them.
calvin smiles at me, "there's bestie" cal says
i smile, "hey calvin hey gang" i say
kianna smiles, "so we were wondering if you would like to go to basketball after party tonight?" kianna says
"oh... umm bronny's coming home tonight.. my parents are gonna want me there to greet him but—" i say
"—it's fine family's more important" kenzie cuts me off
right. family is more important but bronny is scary. i nod slowly, "i was thinking about not going home tonight" i say
they all look at me, "why?" eddie asks
"i had a bad dream about bronny last night and i was at the jail visiting him and he turned into a demon and attacked me in front of everyone the officer didn't even help. i woke up sweating hard as fuck and my heart was pounding i was shaking and screaming my mom came to calm me down it was terrible that's why i don't wanna see bronny today i can't" i ramble
"you just need to smoke weed and you good" suie says
"yeah have a little it's good" cal says
"guys weed isn't gonna solve her problem" eddie says
"it sure won't but it'll relax your mind" dev says
"she's not smoking what is that gonna solve? she still has to go home either way at some point" kianna says
"exactly" kenzie says
"i honestly think the weed might help" dk says
"just puff a little an—" kai says
"—enough about the got damn weed!" lauren shouts cutting her off.
everyone went silent and we kinda laughed a little, "let's talk about the party who's throwing it?" i ask
"let's talk jules how are you and her doing?" eddie asks me
dev rolls her eyes, "party topic first" dev says
i sit down next to kianna, "ok katie watson is throwing the party at her house tonight for nchs kids only" kianna says to us
i smile a little, "katie watson??" i ask
i had a crush on her for a little bit but i never told her i'm cool with her but only in 2nd period. she's the captain of the cheer team here. and she's so pretty😍, "yes cheer team captain katie" kianna says to me
i just smile to myself, "oh no she's got a crush" calvin says
my face went straight, "no i don't" i say
