4th period - cheer practice

~jules pov

right now i'm at lunch after cheer practice. my lunch ends in 45 minutes but i just got in here. im with my best friends and some other people that i talk to but don't call my 'friends' they're like school friends. since i have softball practice literally in 45 minutes im just wearing a tank top with my jacket over it and sweatpants with my fitted hat on. i felt like dressing like a boy today and that's ok. dressing like a boy is me 70% of the time unless im going out to dinner, to a dance, to family events, etc. my mom always tells me i can dress however i want to family events but i prefer to be dress like a girl to events because that's what i am and i feel like it's more appropriate. im in the lunch line even though i don't wanna eat.

"are you guys eating? i don't wanna eat this shit" i say to my besties

they look at me, "i just wanna get milk you guys can sit at our table until i get there and we can go get wings" mar says

we got excited, "bet" i say

me anna and lilia walk to our table and sit down. "jules girls are eyeing you all around" anna says

i shrug, "so what? they do it all the time" i say

"they're looking harder because you're dressed like a boy today" lilia says

i look around the cafeteria and i do see a lot of girls staring at me and smiling some waved. gave me chills. i look back at my friends, "that made me a lil uncomfy" i say

i pull out my phone and start scrolling through instagram, "sometimes i just like... miss jayden even though i haven't met her" i say

"awww" my friends say

"invite her to your game" lilia says

i glance at her and she's smiling, "she said she was gonna pull up tonight but... i'll look so bad she's gonna have me nervous the whole game" i say

"keep it playa jules like you always do" anna says

i smack my lips as i look at her, "jayden is someone different she's very beautiful and makes my knees weak as weird as that sounds" i say

they chuckle, "that's not weird you're just catching feelings" lilia says

i smile to myself, "i know i am... my hearts gonna get broken but.. oh well." i say

i see jayden's recent post. my godddd😫.
