Alex's POV
"You know, maybe going back to the coffeeshop won't be so bad." My dad says driving me to Sammy's house. He thinks I should try to ask for my job back.
I lean my head towards him, "How about I just become a stripper. You know faster money, more adventure?"
I see a smile form on the side of his face, "Okay, I'll place some ads out for you."
I gasp, "I was only kidding, dad."
He chuckles, "I thought you were serious. Listen kiddo, you need to learn how to drive. Get your license, tell Zayn to show you."
I roll my eyes, "Zayn has zero patience, you know he rushed me at the mall because I was taking to long."
"Well you do. You could stare at a rack of clothes all day and not choose anything."
"Zayn gets irritated fast though. And I need someone who is patient. Zayn let me try to park his car once, and he nearly had a heart attack when I pushed on the gas petal."
"A car is a mans best friend." He laughs
"Really? Cause it seems like you and him have became a new bromance."
He laughs hitting the stirring wheel, "Are you jealous? Next thing you'll know him and i grabbing pizza watching the football game."
I am relieved that my dad really likes Zayn, but my dad forgets that Zayn isn't his age to actually hang out, "Take him. He is all yours, it's not like he has anything better to do."
"Speaking of champ, why hasn't he been over in a while?" My dad asks as I turn my phone on.
"He said he was been busy, with his father trying to plan his wedding. Yaser wants to get married before Zayn leaves to New York."
"Oh that's nice, is Zayn the best man?"
"Yes."
"Are you going to be the flower girl?" He jokes, I look at him, and sock his arm, "Why do you try to act like my friend too?"
He chuckles, "Because I love my little butterfly."
I roll my eyes, "I told you not to call me that."
He parks his car in front of Sammy's house, "Why not? It could be your stripper name."
I laugh grabbing my bag. I kiss him gently on the cheek, "Not funny. Love you dad. I'll call you later." I watch him as he drives off, I hear a door open, and it's Martin, "Sam lied. She said I was late."
I smile hugging him, "Then I guess I'm late too."
He flings his arm over my shoulder as we walk up the flight of stairs to her door, "I could have picked you up."
"It's alright, my dad actually had duty right now. Sammy's dad too, but you think you can drive me home?" I smile looking up at him.
He grins kissing forehead, "Of course loser." He rings the doorbell.
I poke his side as we wait for Sammy to open her door, he watches me closely, when Sammy opens the door, "I always shipped it."
I look away, pulling myself away from Martin, "Is Charlie here yet?" I ask walking inside.
