The Rookies

So I was looking up the locations that everyone is up and the majority of the main characters are from California. Dipper, Mabel, Anne, Sasha, Marcy, marco, and Hailey are all from California. Luz is from Connecticut and it was never really said where Brighton and that the McGee's have been to a lot of states. So basically the majority of the main characters are from California.

The rookies

"Yep. It's about the rookies." Anne said. "I remember my rookie days back at Toad Tower." "And mine as a new ranger." Sasha and Marcy said in remembrance. "You were instantly made to lieutenant!" "And you were a chief ranger when we met!" Anne and sprig both said to them. "Ok maybe we didn't have the real rookie experience." Sasha said. "I still have fond memories of my Ranger days with my squad. I will miss them." Marcy said.

"You do know you could still see them?" Luz said. "I know... but..... shut up." Marcy said as she couldn't think of anything to say.

Simmons and Grif are on top of Red Base. A soldier in red armor (Donut) is walking up the ramp behind them.

Simmons: Hey, that's not exactly what happened.

Grif: Yes, it is. You said, "I'm not going to the Vegas quadrant," and then the next thing I know you're in an escape pod headed for-

"I see Vegas is still around in the future." Dipper said. "Except now it's an entire quadrant in space." Star said. "I remember when we went to the Vegas dimension." Marco said. "What was that place like?" Anne asks. "Hey! What happens in the Vegas dimension, stays in the Vegas dimension." Star said with a smile.

Donut: Excuse me, uh, sirs.

Grif: Sirs? (turns to Donut) Ah crap.

Donut: I was told to report to Blood Gulch Outpost Number One and speak to whoever's in charge.

Grif: Sorry man, Sarge is at Command getting orders. Ain't nobody in charge today.

"Really?! He didn't made someone to be in charge of the base?" Sasha said in surprised confusion.

Simmons: Actually, Private, he left me in charge while he's gone.

"Ahhh ok. That makes sense." She says.

Grif: You are such a kiss-ass.

"Pfffttt!!! That's exactly what Eda used to say about Lilith, before she left the Emperor's coven." Luz laughs of the past memory. "Yeah, I remember Lilith complaining about that before our dual." Amity said in annoyance of that past memory.

Simmons: Also, he told me if I had any trouble from you I should... (clears throat then poorly imitates Sarge) "Git in the Warthog, and crush yer head like a tomato-can."

"That is like..... the worst impression. That I have ever heard." Marco said.

Grif: That's the worst impression I've ever heard.

Simmons: Okay rookie, what's your story?

Donut: Private Donut reporting for duty, sir. I'm ready to fight some aliens.

Grif: Couple things here, rookie. First off, Private Donut? I think somebody needs a new nickname. Secondly, what's with the armor color?

"What's wrong with his color? Isn't he supposed to be part of red team?" Star asks in confusion. "Maybe it's reserved for certain ranks in the army?" Dipper suggested.

Donut: This IS the standard issue red.

Grif: Yeah, I know. Listen. Only two kinds of people wear standard issue armor: officers and recruits. And since you're not threatening to gut me like a fish, you're probably not an officer.
