Red Gets a Delivery

New chapter! Yayyyyyy!!! ....yeah, I don't really have much to say. But still, I hope you enjoy the chapter and I hope that I did the characters reactions feel right. It's a little tough to remember everything and how to accurately portray their would be reactions. But I'm sure I'll get the hang of it as time goes on. So anyway enjoy.

Red Gets a Delivery

"Not much about the title." Dipper said as he wrote down on his notebook.

Pan out on Grif and Simmons, who are approaching another Red soldier (Sarge) clad in red armor.

Sarge: Hurry up, ladies. This ain't no ice cream social.

"Ice cream social? Is that like a party with ice cream?" Star asks. "That would be awesome!" "I'm down with that." Mabel and Scratch said.

Simmons: Ice cream social?

Simmons and Grif exchange looks.

Cut to Sarge.

Sarge: Stop the pillow talk, you two. Anyone want to guess why I gathered you here today?

Grif: Uh, is it because the war's over and you're sending us home?

"Oh well if that's the case then I guess the shows over. Heh I didn't think it would end this quick. What a short series." Luz joked while trying not to laugh outright.

Sarge: (Sarcastically) That's exactly it, Private. War's over. We won. Turns out you're the big hero and we're gonna hold a parade in your honor. I get to drive the float, and Simmons here IS IN CHARGE OF CONFETTI!

"Aw man! Why didn't we get a parade?" Polly asks. "Well, Newtopia was destroyed and I doubt we could even have one in Amphibia." Marcy said, "to bad. The parade during Christmas was fun." Sprig said. "It certainly was. Just wished it wasn't interrupted." Anne said as she mumbled on the last part.

Grif: I'm no stranger to sarcasm, sir.

Sarge: Goddamn it, Private! Shut your mouth or else I'll have Simmons slit your throat while you're asleep!

"Jeez! That sounds like Grime before I became Lieutenant." Sasha said. "You mean like before you backstabbed us?" Sprig asks. "Your never gonna let that go are you." "Not really." ".....That's fair." "Eh. Amity tried to dissect me as well. So everyone's done stuff they aren't proud of." Luz said. "I still feel bad about that." Amity said as Luz hugs her. "Awwww!! Don't feel bad. I have never hate you for that. Besides! It's certainly gonna be great story one day." Luz says ad Amity blush's.

Simmons: Oh I'd do it, too.

Sarge: I know you would, Simmons. Good man. (brief pause) Couple of things today, ladies. Command has seen fit to increase our ranks here at Blood Gulch Outpost Number One.

"Blood Gulch." "Outpost number one!" Dipper and Mabel said and yelled. "I like the name. It's sounds awesome!" Star said. "It does fit. Gulch's are usually dry and rocky. So it makes sense that it has the word Blood in it." Marco said. "Although that looks like if it was hit by a mad storm then there's gonna be a flooding problem." Dipper adds.

Grif: Crap. We're getting a rookie.

Sarge: That's right, dead man. Our new recruit will be here within the week, but today we received the first part of our shipment from Command.

Grif and Simmons exchange looks again.

Sarge turns towards a hill behind them.

Sarge: Lopez, bring up the vehicle.
