Credits come in with several recruits running across the screen as a voice booms over a loudspeaker"Woahhh! Where are we?" Sprig asks. "It looks like a training area." Sasha said as she sees all the blue soldiers running.
Flowers: (voice only) Alright I wanna see some hustle out there! I mean the, hard work kinda hustle not the, disco or legal scam kinda hustle. Apologize for the confusion on that earlier.
"Flowers!" Everyone said in surprise. "This must be a flashback!" Dipper said. "I guess he was a training instructor before being shipped to Blood gulch.... And then being killed by Church." Anne said. "Although how has some blues mistake hustle for a disco and what Grunkle Stan does." Dipper said. "I think it's pretty clear that most of these guys aren't the smartest of the soldiers. Although to be fair we have only saw three sets of reds and blues in the entire series." Amity said.
SPECIAL FORCES TRAINING
The voice continues mostly inaudibly in the background. Church, who is wearing regulation blue armor, approaches Tex, who watches the training from atop a platform.
"This must be around the time Tex was training for the special forces." Marcy said. "But who's the blue guy that's waking up to her?" Molly asks.
Church: Your armor looks good. A lot better than this regulation blue stuff they give the rest of us.
"Oh it's Church!" Molly said. "I guess it makes sense. Grif did say that the color red armor was force recruits and officers. So imagine that it's the same for blue team." Marco said.
Tex: They told us each one has a unique ability. I've been tryin' to figure out what mine is-
"Invisibility." Dipper said. "But didn't Wyoming had one? After all we saw him use one when he walked up to Church and Grif on Sidewinder." Marcy said. "Huh, then I guess not all of them got one?" Dipper said.
Church: Tex you know, you don't have to do this.
Tex: I'm not doing it because I have to.
Church: It's just that, there's all these rumors about these experiments they're running, they're... taking computer programs and puttin' 'em inside of people's heads. Just sounds a little, crazy.
"Exactly." "And must never be used. Ever!" Sasha and Anne both said. "Yeahhh.... Those are never good in real life." Marcy said.
Tex: You know I can't talk about it with you.
Church: I know.
Tex: (softly) Technically you're not even supposed to be here.
"Wow, Tex is actually a bit nicer." Marco said. "Especially Church." Star adds. "I guess they did have a bit of a sense of compassion and heart to each other." Luz said.
Church: I know.
Jimmy appears from behind a corner.
Jimmy: Hey Leonard, come on.
Church: Yeah hold on a second Jimmy!
"Oh hey, there's Jimmy." Mabel said. "RUN JIMMY! TEX IS GONNA KILL YOU IN THE FUTURE!" Luz yelled. "He can't hear you?" Dipper said with an eyebrow raised. "I know, but I do feel like one of us should do the joke." Luz answered.
Wyoming suddenly appears
Wyoming: Yes I think it best you go, Private. We've got real military work to do here. Perhaps you should go back to your training. Learn how to get shot properly. Hmhmhm.
"We'll screw you two, Wyoming." Sasha said in annoyance of that last sentence.
Church: Yeah thanks. I was already leaving.
Church walks a little, then stops.
Unknown Voice: (voice only) Never leave a man behind... except when it's to save them from danger, you should probably let women and children go first, and come back for the men later.
Church: Tex I... just be careful.
"Awwww!" Most of the girls said. "That was very sweet." Molly said with a smile.
Church leaves.
Unknown Voice: (voice only) Just give us your best judgment.
Fade to the present. Tex gives a stirring monologue about the events happening on screen, in which several Freelancers undergo the A.I. removal process. Tex, however, escapes.
Tex: (voice over) He was right about the rumors: every operative was paired and implanted with some kind of modified A.I. They were supposed to make us faster or stronger, or in my case, just plain meaner. The experiment worked for a while, then people just started goin' crazy.
"It did!" Dipper said in surprise.
Tex (Voice over): So they scrapped the project, and began removing the A.I. modules and deleting them one by one.
"Woah! I didn't see that coming." Marcy said. "But then why did Tex kept hers?" Amity asks.
Tex (voice over): Problem was, some of the A.I.s didn't wanna be deleted, resisting the removal process. The one in my head, Omega, was one of the difficult ones.
"Difficult is certainly putting it lightly for him." Anne said.
Tex (voice over): Since they couldn't erase him they decided to erase both of us. And that didn't go over so well.
"They tried to what!?" Everyone yelled in surprise. "Ok, now I understand a little bit." Amity said.
Tex (voice over): By the time we escaped the facility it was pretty clear I had to do something to get rid of Omega for good. Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to hide your thoughts from somethin' that lives inside your head. It wasn't that long before he figured out how to jump outta me, and in to other people using the radio.
"He must've figured that out when Caboose used the radio." Marcy said.
Tex (voice over): So removing him was the easy part. Killing him, was gonna be a different story. And as much as I hate to admit it...
Fade back to the present, where Tex looks up at Omega's island fortress.
"Well, there's O'Malley's old base." Anne said. "Is it even guarded?" Amity asks. "Most likely a trap. We did hear Wyoming's conversation with him." Dipper said. "So it's probably has some guards and Wyoming in there." Sasha said.
Tex: (talks) I'm gonna need some help.
"From who?" Everyone asks as Anne starts the next episode.
