𝐀𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫, Lily became aware that the rest of the house appeared to have repaired itself whilst her attention had been focused on the stained glass window. She was no longer stood on the ground. Instead, she found herself standing on a polished wooden floor. The crumbling staircase she'd walked down just moments before was now intact. The Creel House was whole.

She didn't know what was happening. She didn't know what to do. This wasn't how Max had described her encounter with Vecna. This was different. Vecna wasn't anywhere to be seen. She was still in the Creel house, she could tell that much, but it was different. It wasn't the derelict ruins they'd been in before, or the red, mixed up pieces that Max had drawn. The house was new and untouched.

The front door opened and a man, around his forties, stepped into the house, accompanied by a woman of a similar age, and two children, one girl and one boy. There was no mistaking they were a family, the similarities between the four of them were undeniable. Lily watched as the father held his hand out, "What did I tell you!?"

"This is amazing!" The girl beamed, whirling around in excitement, "It looks like a fairytale. A dream!" She exclaimed, running straight past Lily and up the mended staircase, her luggage held at her side.

"Alice, no running!" The mother called after her.

"It's so big!" Alice called back. She was still running, Lily could hear her footsteps. From their conversation, and how excited the three of them looked, Lily guessed they had just moved into the house.

"This is nice" The man said, throwing an arm around his wife and, just like Alice had done, they walked by Lily as if she weren't there.

Lily was in another memory, but a much older one, judging by the newness of the house. She wasn't sure why Vecna was showing her any of this, or who's memory it belonged to, but judging by the fact she was in the Creel House, and Vecna had murdered the Creel Family, she had a hunch. She could guess who this family were.

The only one left in the hallway was the boy. Unlike the rest of his family, he wore an expression of pure misery, as though he wished he were standing anywhere but the threshold of the house. He stared ahead blankly, his hands dug into the pockets of his pants.

"Henry!" The man shouted to him, "Stop moping. Go and explore the new 'Creel Castle' with Alice, or whatever she called it on the way here".
