𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐠𝐨 of her. They shoved her harshly onto the floor in the room where Steve was. The moment they left, locking the door behind them, Lily crawled over to him. She managed to manoeuvre her hands to latch onto his shoulder and she shook him, her heart racing. Now she was closer to him, she noticed the alarming amount of blood on his face.
"Steve! Steve, wake up!" She practically screamed, fumbling to reach for his wrist and squeezing her eyes shut. Her mind flashed back to the night they'd found Cindy in the Upside Down. After a few second she could feel the faint beat of his pulse, "Thank god" She sighed.
She dragged herself over to the door and began to hit her fists against it, "Let us out of here, you bastards!" She exclaimed. She continued to shout, until her voice grew hoarse. Eventually, she gave up and slumped against the wall. She had no idea what to do. Steve was unconscious and she didn't know where Robin was.
Then, as if in answer to the latter problem, the door was flung open and Robin was shoved inside, her wrists also bound together, "Get your hands off of me!" The younger girl yelled, putting up a fight similar to the one Lily had displayed minutes prior. "What did they do to him?" She said, looking between Lily and Steve, "What did you do?" She repeated, as another soldier walked in.
The second soldier made straight for Lily. He tried to pick her up, but she resisted against him so much, he had to call someone else over. "Leave me alone!" She yelled, as the two soldiers picked her up, "Put me down, jerks!"
"Don't touch me!" She heard Robin say from behind her.
Despite the fight the girls were putting up, they were forced into two chairs. A still unconscious Steve was shoved into a third chair. The three of them were bound together in the middle of the room. The chairs had their backs to each other, so Lily couldn't see Steve or Robin.
Robin glanced over at Lily, "Are you okay?" She asked.
"Of course I'm not" Lily answered, trying to push away the soldier holding her, "Steve wake up!" She said, desperately. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw one of the soldiers lift Steve's head up, clicking his tongue, "Don't you dare touch him!" She exclaimed, "I said don't touch him!" She repeated, and she received a sharp blow.
"Stop it!" Robin yelled, "Hey, Steve, can you hear us?"
The soldier let go of Steve, "I think your friend needs a doctor" He smirked, "Good thing, we have the best".
At this, Lily heard Robin spit, presumably at one of the soldiers. He mumbled something that sounded like a threat in Russian in response and stalked out of the room. The other soldiers left too, leaving the girls alone.
