𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐲'𝐬 sudden appearance. Steve, who thought she was a stranger at first, clapped a hand over Dustin's mouth in a panic. However, he quickly let him go once he realised it was Lily and smiled. He kissed her, and Dustin, who didn't know Lily was being sarcastic, repeated himself, "I said I intercepted a secret-"

"I was joking" Lily interjected, "I heard the first time, and so did most of the food court" She chuckled, grabbing his baseball cap and reading aloud the lettering on it, "Camp Know Where. How was it? Was it as boring as it sounds?"

He frowned, "That's not what's important right now-"

"I can answer that" Steve interrupted, "See, Henderson here has been telling me all about his girlfriend, Suzie".

Lily's eyes widened, "Girlfriend? Since when?"

"I met her at camp" Dustin answered, "But-"

"Apparently she's hotter than Phoebe Cates" Steve said.

"Phoebe Cates?" Lily grinned. She stole a look at Steve. They were clearly both sceptical about Suzie's existence.

"Can you two stop being dicks and shut up!" Dustin exclaimed, "There's more important things to talk about right now! I intercepted a secret Russian communication last night and all you wanna talk about is my girlfriend".

"Jesus, sorry man" Steve grumbled.

"Look, I'm sure you just tapped into a radio or something. It probably wasn't even Russian" Lily shrugged.

"No, it was definitely Russian" Dustin assured them, "It could be to do with the war or something? We could be heroes, true American heroes. How does that sound?"

The words 'American heroes' seemed to catch Steve's attention and his eyes lit up, "I like the sound of that. But what's the catch?" He said, sceptically.

"There's no catch, I just need your help".

"With what?" Lily asked, "And don't say anything that involves having to stand up. I hardly slept last night".

"Lucky for you, there's no standing involved" Dustin replied. He reached into his backpack and pulled out a Russian dictionary, "I need your help with translating".

"Translating?" Lily repeated, raising her eyebrow, "You do realise who you're asking to help you, right?"

Dustin frowned, "Is there a problem?"

"Well, we're not exactly the best people to ask," She continued, gesturing between her and Steve, "I mean, we barely graduated high school".

Steve nodded in agreement, "She's got a point".
