𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, despite Lily's reluctance, she and Dustin were once again perched on the roof of Starcourt. She didn't have work, so had been able to come straight to the mall with Steve, where Dustin had almost immediately dragged her to the roof. This time, the two of them were looking for a way to get into the room the boxes had been delivered to the previous day.
"So, the key card opens the door?" Lily asked. She was looking through the binoculars, at one of the delivery workers opening the room in question with a key card.
"That would be correct" Dustin nodded, "The only question is how we're gonna getone of those cards".
Lily shrugged, "I have no idea, but I do know that I wanna get off this roof before they notice us. Now that we've got what we need, we don't need to be here anymore".
"Yeah, let's go" He replied, following behind Lily as they made their way back down into the mall, both of them hunched over to avoid being seen from the loading dock.
"It's a key card we need" Lily explained, bursting into the back room of Scoops, where Steve and Robin were sat.
Dustin nodded, "There's a key card that opens the door, but unfortunately the Russian with this key card also has a massive gun. So, I don't really know what to suggest".
"There's gotta be a way in somehow" Robin frowned.
"Where's your lawyer friend?" Dustin asked Lily, "I bet she'd be able to come up with some sort of plan".
"You mean Cindy?" Lily corrected him, "She's at work, and even if she wasn't, she still wouldn't be here, cause she wasn't answering my calls earlier. I'm afraid you're stuck with us for now" She replied. She'd tried getting ahold of Cindy again that morning, but she'd had no luck.
Steve, on the other hand, seemed to be unbothered by the dilemma, "Well, you know, I could just take him out".
Robin raised her eyebrows, "Take who out?"
"The Russian guard. I sneak up behind him, knock him out and take his key card, it's easy-"
"Steve, think about what you just said" Lily chuckled.
He frowned at her, "What?"
"Did you not hear the part about the massive gun?"
"Yes, Dustin, I did and that's why I would be sneaking".
Dustin looked sceptical, "Please tell me this, and be honest. Have you ever actually won a fight?" He asked.
"I can answer-" Lily began, as she sat down next to Steve.
