𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩, 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 the addition of Cindy and Robin listened to the recording several more times. Every so often, one of them would pause the recording, flick through the Russian dictionary, then frown. They seemed to be getting nowhere. Just as the recording was about to finish once more, Lily picked up on the music that was quietly playing and recognised it.

"Steve was right about that music" She said, thoughtfully.

"You're seriously focusing on the music right now, Lily?" Dustin scoffed, "How's that helping?"

"Well, I'm sorry" She retorted, defensively, "It's not like I need to be focusing on anything else. You three are the smart ones. There's not really any point me helping you".

"No there isn't, cause you've got about as many brain cells as I do" Came Steve's voice from the serving hatch.

Lily tossed a pen though the open hatch. It bounced off his shoulder. "Shut up! You're not involved anymore".

"Less of the attitude, young lady" He frowned, throwing the pen back, "Or I'll make you come out here and help".

"I'll pass on that. I'd rather not".

Steve groaned, "It's boring out here, especially when I can hear you guys talking" He complained, "Although guess what, Buckley? I just got a huge tip from an old couple" He smirked, in a feeble attempt to make Robin jealous.

"Oh that's great, cause you owe me fifty cents".

"No" Steve sighed, "I'm not playing that game anymore".

Lily looked between them, "Game? What game?"

"Every time you come in with a hickey, Steve has to give me a quarter" Robin explained, "And you've got two on your neck today, so that's fifty cents".

"It wasn't my idea" Steve grumbled, "Obviously".

"Seriously?" She laughed, looking over at Robin who nodded, "How did you even see them? They're tiny".

"I noticed them too" Dustin said, looking uncomfortable, "But I chose not to say anything cause you know, the thought of you doing it-" He trailed off, with a grimace.

Lily threw the pen at him, "Thanks, Henderson" She said, as the pen hit the younger teen in the chest.

Cindy, who had started listening to the tape again, cleared her throat, "I can't hear anything. Stop talking".

"That's because we've got Little Miss Prom Queen talking over it" Robin frowned, "And you're not helping" She said to Steve. She closed the serving hatch on him.
