Phiwokuhle's POV
"I really don't wanna go." I say. She may think I'm saying this because I'm going to miss her which is part of the reason but I also don't want to face the harsh realities of that place. Being with Ayesha feels like I'm escaping reality. I manage to forget all the problems I face. I feel happier, free/lighter around her. She always makes the pain go away. The medicine to numb the pain.
She chuckles. "I also don't want you to go. Maybe you can ask your parents to sleep over and I'll also ask mines." she says. That would be a good idea. "I would love to. I just need to check up on my grandmother first and then I'll come here. Plus they don't know I'm dating a girl or anything so it shouldn't be a problem." I say. She kisses my forehead and i snuggle closer to her.
"I know I'm irresistible." she says and i roll my eyes. "No need to boost your own ego." I say and she laughs. "I'm not boosting anyone's ego I'm just stating facts." "Yeah right...irresistible se voet." "Okay no need to go vulgar on me." We laugh. "I really enjoyed my time here despite the mini fight." "I enjoyed it too. I love being around you. You the calm after a stormy weather."
"Yes wena poet Ayesha." I say and she laughs. "Uyabeda ke wena." she says. "Let's get going. They might think I'm trying to come back with a baby." "Why didn't you ask them which one?" "It would lead to an involuntary confession. My dad is homophobic and my mom I can't put a finger around her." She nods. "Let's go then."
I go upstairs and take my bag and go back downstairs. I find Ayesha waiting at the end of the stairs and she takes my hand once I reach the bottom step. "Isn't it cute that we are matching." I say. "Courtesy of you. You inspired me even though I was angry." she says. "And then you say you are irresistible." "I am. You can't keep your hands away from me."
"As if." I say. "I was going to dare you but then I remembered we won't be seeing each other anytime soon." she says. "We will do the dare at school." "Yeah." "But don't worry I'll ask my parents if I can visit at least for a week." "That's fine. I'm sure my mom will also want me to tag along when they go and see my grandfather."
She locks the door and we walk to her car. I open the door and get inside and throw the bag in the back seat. She also gets inside and brings the ignition to life. We sit for a minute or two to get the car all warmed up. "Give me a kiss before I drive." she says. "Irresistible." I say. "Phiwo just because I taught you a new word to add to your vocabulary doesn't mean you must flaunt it."
"The shade." I say and we laugh. I put my palms on her cheeks and crash my lips onto hers. "Come sit on my lap." she murmurs. "Are you sure?" I ask. "Yes." I unbuckle the seat belt and she pushes her seat backwards. I climb on her lap and crash my lips on her. Her hands go underneath my sweater and she squeezes my boobs. "Again." We make out for a full ten minutes before we pull apart to catch our breaths.
"Fuck that was good." I say as I rest my body on the steering wheel and it honks. "Shit." I sit up straight and she chuckles. "I know. I don't know who taught you how to kiss but they did a good job." she says. "If I said you." "I would definitely believe you. I am a good teacher after all." "Yeah yeah yeah." "You gotta give credit when due." "Mmm." We laugh.
"Okay then let me take you back home." she says. She flicks my nipples and i giggle. "Stop." I say and she chuckles. "Fine." I get off her lap and move to my seat. I buckle up the seat belt and she starts driving. I connect my phone to the radio and shuffle my playlist and the song Marvins room by Drake starts playing. I don't like Drake but I love this song.
