Phiwokuhle's POV
Few weeks later. We pay for our tickets and go through the gates. "Welcome to Happy Islands or should i say we welcome you Happy Islands." says Khulekani and we chuckle. "What you said doesn't make sense but we shall pretend like we understand the shit you just mumbled." I say and we laugh. "Let's just keep on pretending."
"At least we are done with our finals and we are just waiting for our results now." says Ayesha. "You guys are lucky that you getting the results next year thina banye banga siyisa emakhaya mesingaphasanga kahle." says Kheto and we chuckle. (some of us can be taken to the rural areas if we didn't pass well.) "You would look good herding cows though." I say and we laugh.
"Are you trying to say i look good domesticated?" asks Kheto. "Yes you will look good domesticated. You might even find a wife when you get there." I answer and we laugh. "Udlala ngami nje wena." (You playing with me.) "But guys am I wrong. He would look good as a farm boy." "Farm Julian." says Khulekani and we laugh.
"Phiwo is right, being a farm boy does suit you." says Tristan. "Nidlala ngami ngoba angicedanga isikolo." says Kheto and we laugh. (You are playing with me because I'm not done with school.) We find a chilling spot and we sit down. "So are we going to eat first or explore?" asks Kagiso. "Let's explore, eat then explore again." I answer. "At least it's not that busy."
"We got here early hence the quietness." says Kwenzo. "Let's go enjoy while it's still empty. Standing in lines the whole day ain't nice." says Kheto and we stand up and go to our first ride. We have fun going on all the different rides and we take photos. These are memories that I shall cherish forever.
After two hours of playing we decide to go buy food. We buy burgers and chips and drinks and go back to our chilling spot. We sit down and start eating. "So how were the finals?" asks Kheto. "They were good even though mawanzima." answers Kagiso. (difficult.) "They would be difficult if you didn't study." says Khulekani.
"For you they were easy?" asks Kagiso. "They were smooth not easy of course there were those one or two trick questions here and there but either than that they were smooth." answers Khulekani. "They were good." answers Kwenzo. "We all hoping for the best at this point. I don't remember how I wrote. All that information flied out of my brain when i exited the hall." I say and they chuckle.
"Nami ngikhohliwe ukuthi mengibhalani. All I remember is that I attended and wrote my exams and we just waiting for the results." says Ayesha. (I also forgot what I was writing.) "Wena how did you write your exams?" asks Tristan. "I wrote okay. You know not all of them were easy but I think I did fairly well in most subjects." answers Kheto.
"As long as you did well and pass grade 11 then you are good. We want you to do well and succeed in life and get to pursue your dream job." says Kagiso. "Thanks guys." says Kheto. We finish eating and i throw the containers in the bin nearby. I go back to sit down and Ayesha pulls me closer to her and i sit on her lap. "The epitome of couple goals la." says Kheto and i giggle.
"I mean we aim to impress and stuff." says Ayesha and we laugh. "Impress us cause we are definitely impressed." says Khulekani and we laugh. She wraps her arms around my waist and pulls me closer to her. I kiss her forehead and rest my head on top of hers. "What are your plans for Christmas?" asks Kagiso.
"To still be alive by then." I answer and they laugh. "Our parents are taking us to Cape Town so yeah we going to be sight seeing." answers Kheto. "Ooh fancy can i tag along I'll be in your suitcase and won't bother anyone." I say and they chuckle. "We shall see what we can do." says Kwenzo. "I'm going to be at home having lunch with my parents and siblings and we might go out I'm not sure." says Ayesha.
