Van Gogh leaned over the railing of a well while Galatea held her still, keeping her from falling in. Helena discovered an energy source emanating from the bottom of the well, and Van Gogh used her vines to grab it. She dragged it up and found it was a diary covered in a black veil, with writing in the fairy language. The velvet book was soaked, and most of the pages were illegible, but there was magic inside it.

The two brought it to Helena, allowing the caster to tap on the pages and lift a ball of energy from within. She was ready when they were, and once she got the signal, she threw it in the air. The energy burst like a firework. And not long after, a lance pierced through it. Nero took her sword's handle and held the blade in the scabbard until the time was right. Once the lance was close enough, she sliced the metal in half. The others were surprised. Earth spirit magic was stronger than they thought it was

Luna made another lance and went for Nero. The Saber kept her busy while the others fought the enforcers guarding her. All they had to do was create an opening for Yu and Yang to fight the angel. Helena adjusted her bracelet to activate the anti-god magic and blasted the enforcers back, letting Yu get through. However, Yang was having trouble. Abhimanyu, from the shadows, shot the ones around her. He charged his cannon and demolished another group. Cleopatra helped him when the enforcers got too close, using her snake to constrain them, and helped him get deeper into the forest.

Galatea and Van Gogh were the ones struggling the most. With Van Gogh not used to her lance, she stumbled when fighting and had to rely on Galatea to support her. Galatea froze the land around them and created pillars to filter the enforcers into small groups. She destroyed a few with her rod and threw it over to Van Gogh to get the ones around the foreigner. Luckily, Yang broke through the barrier of enforcers, and he could shift attention to helping them. He shot the ones around Van Gogh as she got on her feet again. She swung her lance, spreading her flowers in the air and piercing the enforcers around her.

"You three have some guts to fight me," Luna said, holding her lance in her hand.

"We've fought worse than an angel with a fairy problem," Yu retorted.

"Oberon took everything from me. I think I'm justified in my hatred for him."

"Still," Yang interrupted. "Why would you serve the king? What has he done for you?"

"I didn't have a choice. He came to me about his plans for the realm."

"Which are?"

"Turning Xiatian into a place where no one will be sad."

"That's bullshit!" Nero angrily yelled, "I don't buy that people are happy with this country! Even if they can't remember the people they've lost, you can't pretend that they're okay killing each other with your shitty justice system!"

Luna scoffed. "This is why people like you are so dangerous. You don't understand what it's like to live with the world changing around you. And we can't allow things to deviate any further than they already have."

"So, even though Q'yth-Az is gone, his mindset remains."

"I don't expect a farm girl from Rome to know what it's like living in Xiatian."

"Insult me all you want, at least I'm not stupid enough to trust an evil dictator with his fake idea of peace."

Luna was furious. She flew down with her lance pointed at Nero. The saber raised her sword and clashed with the lance. As the two fought, Yu came from behind and threw daggers at Luna. The angel dodged the blades by flying, and before they hit Nero, they turned into dark energy. Yu gave Nero the go-ahead to leave things to her, and she launched herself into the sky to reach Luna. With her daggers in hand, she threw them, making Luna drift until she got the angel close to Yang.
