Carmen opened the door and found Zuriel sitting on a crystal throne. By his side were blackened lights that summoned enforcers. There was something different about him, though. He was depressed and seemed tired. Nothing like the man Chaldea met on their first day. It was like he didn't care that the group disposed of his enforcers in seconds, and he stood up, facing them for the first time. He summoned his staff and approached the group, his eyes locked on Carmen.

"Pourquoi es-tu si ennuyeux?" He asked.

"Annoying? I could ask the same of you," Carmen retorted. "You didn't waste time getting this set up after the Platted Knight and the church weren't threats to you."

"Your rule over this country ends today," Yang announced. "I won't let you keep hurting the people of Xiatian for your twisted idea of perfection!"

"Miss Guifei, I knew you'd come here," Azhorra-Tha's appearance surprised the group. "I remember you. Your father used to be part of the council."

"So what?"

"Ah, right, you don't remember him. He was killed by the judgment system."

"That means..." Yang tried to remember her parents, but all she knew were blurred faces.

"Even if you try to fight it, you are part of this country. You commended your parents for their crimes and killed them to save yourself. Because that is how this country thrives. The strong will live while the weak die! That is the natural cycle of life!"

"And you're a piece of shit," Yu yawned. "Blaming a child for following procedures that your colleague created is screwed up. And then you wipe her memory of it so she doesn't know what she did, just because it makes people happy to forget the bad parts of their lives. The only villains I see... are the two of you."

Azhorra-Tha leaned on Zuriel's shoulder, curious to hear more from the famed Yu Mei Ren. "And what will you do about this?"

A crystal emerged from the ground. Li Mao was trapped inside, sealed away for judgment day that was upon them. As the sun set, Zuriel snapped his fingers and let him go temporarily. Yang tried to reach him, but insects got in her way. Mise and Galatea were quick to help until Azhorra-Tha turned on the broadcast. The goddess wanted to show the country what it meant to oppose the rulers of Xiatian. She explained that he was a murderer and tried to blame Yang for his crimes, and as she listed the ways he deceived the people, the judgment orb around his neck sullied.

Whispers of the people echoed through the crystals. No one wanted to believe the famous idol could kill his competition. Especially not when he was seen trying to marry Yang. A piercing sound was heard not long after, and an enforcer was killed. Carmen turned, expecting to see Molay, but the person she saw was different. A humming broke through the whispers, and the song was finally heard.

"Even if we're judged as guilty, even if there are no dreams. If we're judged as guilty, I will dream along with you."

"Shelo?" Yang asked. "I thought you were dead."

"Yang... Li Mao... the two of you are idiots." The woman pushed her black hair aside with a familiar gauntlet. She ripped another enforcer to shreds and activated the gauntlet's skill, creating a marking similar to what was found on the victim's bodies by slashing quickly into the enemy. "If you keep taking the blame for someone else's crimes, you'll end up dead."

"Are you the one behind the murders?" Azhorra-Tha demanded to know.

"Yang's skills can't do damage, and that moron, Li Mao, doesn't know how to use the gauntlet's skills. What do you think?"

"I'm tired of this case going on for so long," the goddess summoned her twin blades.

"If you want me dead, you'll have to fight me first."
