After I sketched out the shape I wanted and how big the rooms were with input from my mates we finally got the basic shape done. Leo went and talked with the person in charge and paid him before someone else took an interest in the land. Leo's parents have allowed us to stay in the castle until the completion of our home. I had mentioned that I wanted to try and make or have made some things from my homeland to have in our home. After explaining things such as an oven, grill, and sink. Theo had recommended going down to the flea market. He explained that the flea market is where beast men from other tribes and cities try to sell things to the people of the city. He said that we may be able to find similar things or find someone who is knowledgeable in similar practices. For example, someone who is skilled in pottery could help make the oven. I had also mentioned wanting to decorate with jars as well as use some jars and chests to store food.
Unlike the area Arthur and I came from, there was no need to store as much food since they do not get a cold season but they do have a rainy season and that's typically when males would store a little bit of extra food for their mate.
Once Leo returned we talked over our plan for the next day. Leo said he would go and find males to start the process and he felt it would be safer for Theo and Arthur to accompany the cubs and me.
Which is what we are doing currently, We had just got the flea market and I made sure to tell the cubs to stay close and to let us know if they would like to be carried. I wanted them to be safe but I knew I couldn't always carry them even if I really wanted to. Curtis, Enzo, and Apollo wanted to walk on their own but my mama's boy Daunte wanted me to carry him. Once we got to the entrance I asked Arthur to let me down because I wanted to walk and see things closer up. Arthur and Theo seemed hesitant to allow me to walk on my own but soon caved after I gave my best-depressed face. Theo stayed close to me when I would approach a booth and Arthur would watch the cubs since he was too big in his bear form to get close. The first couple of booths were jewelry and hair accessories. Theo bought me a necklace that I had shown interest in.

Theo placed the necklace around my neck and I blushed as his fingertips brushed my neck as if he was teasing me. Now I know he wasn't but boy did it feel that way and I was definitely feeling it. I think Arthur noticed because he brushed up against me affectionately. I kissed Theo's cheek and then Arthur's fluffy head showing them how happy I was to spend time with the both of them. I looked down to see cubs looking around eyes wide open and their little nubs wiggling fast causing me to giggle at the adorable sight. Daunte on the other hand fell asleep and was snoozing in my arms.
We continued down the street and found furs, spices (Medicine), clothing, materials, fruits, and vegetables being sold but no decoration or furniture. I asked for some spices, fruits, and vegetables. We mostly eat meat which is fine but I'm getting tired of it and want to eat something different. I also wanted to treat my babies and mates to some food from my homeland.
"Many have left already but there is a chance that some didn't come this month," Theo explained when I expressed my disappointment.
"If there is something specific you looking for then maybe I can help." We heard.
I turned around to see a tall handsome man with bright green and teal hair with what looked like gold decorating his body and two blue tones on his skirt with gold decoration. Sometimes when I see a beast man I have trouble figuring out what kind they are but this man you could tell that he screamed Peacock. His entire aura, body language, and demeanor gave off King Sinbad vibes from Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic anime/Manga and as someone who was hyper-fixated on that specific character. I can say I do not mind one bit, if anything it made me want to talk to him even more. 'I wouldn't mind mating with him...After I got to know him.' I thought.
I felt my mates and cubs come closer to me as Theo spoke up." How would you be able to help?" He was cold about it but I knew he did it out of love and wanting to protect me.
"Most of the merchants that come to your city, are from my city. I am the one who makes sure they behave themselves and makes sure that they are not getting harassed." He explained but his eyes stayed connected to mine. "Most of my merchants have left the city, but if there is something specific you are looking for. When I have home with the rest of the merchants we can make sure to have your order when we return." He continued.
I touched Theo's arm and said " It's worth trying."
He looked at me and his eyes softened. "Great, How about we take this inside? We wouldn't want the beautiful female to get uncomfortable. " He said in a flirty manner causing me to blush.
Arthur growled which only caused the peacock to chuckle. "By the way my name is Archie, it is truly a pleasure to meet you." With that sentence, I thought I was going to melt.
